1. Safety rules of the machine
If you operate the CAMS machine first time, please make sure to read the following
instructions for your safety and proper operation.
Safety rules on this manual are defined as DANGER, WARNING and CAUTION. If you do not
keep the rules, physical damages on the human body can be occurred.
DANGER Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided may result in minor or moderate injury.

1.1. Sticker attachment position for Warning
Warning sticker is put on the machine for safe operation. When you operate the machine,
observe the directions on the sticker.

▣ Explanations for the warning signs
It shows that electric shock can be occurred by high voltage if you don’t keep this warning.
It shows that physical damage can be occurred on your hands if you don’t keep this warning.
Don’t open the safety guard while the machine is running.
You must be careful not to touch the electric part where this sign shows.
You must be careful not to touch the moving part where this sign shows.

1.2. Operation of machine
Your careful notice is needed on the Caution and Warning stickers attached to the each
part of machine body. During the operation, please observe the below points.
Read this manual carefully before operating machine to understand completely the way
to deal with it.
Do not touch any operating part of machine such as pneumatic cylinders and their
linked parts and XY table etc.
Before opening the electricity cover, cut off the main power and confirm that the main
disconnection switch is off.
1.3. Troubleshooting
If you have any problems on the machine, troubleshooting should be handled by the
designated After Service technician.
Before cleaning or repairing machine, cut off the main power and wait for 1 minutes
until the machine comes to be completely discharged.
Air compressor should have enough capacity to get a good result.
After finishing troubleshooting, cover the all covers that are uncovered during repairing.
1.4. Emergency button
In case of emergency situation, press emergency button which is in front panel.
If you press emergency button, power will be off and machine will be stopped.

To restart machine, follow below sequence.
Turn on the main disconnection switch.
Eliminate emergency factor.
Release emergency button by turning the emergency button knob to clock wise.

1.5. Main disconnection switch
Main disconnection switch is used to connect or disconnect main power of machine. To
connect main power, press down the switch.
In case of maintenance or repairing process, main disconnection switch should be off

1.6. Indicator lamp (LED)
There are three LEDs on operation panel. The first one from the right side is Green color
which is lit when power is on. The second one is yellow. When error is occurred while the
machine is running, machine will stop and this LED will start to blink. The third one is red
color. If you stop machine by pressing stop button on LCD menu while running the
machine, this LED will start to blink.

2. Transportation and Installation
2.1. Conveyance of machine
2.1.1. Dimension of machine
- Weight: 55 ㎏ (net weight)
- Size: 590×625×520 ㎜ (W×D×H)
2.1.2. Using carrier
Carrier should have enough capacity to sustain the load of machine as well as enough
size. When you lift up the machine, fit the fork arm of carrier into the center of machine
weight and lift up carefully to keep the balance of the machine.
2.1.3. Environment of installation
- Temperature of surroundings
When operation the machine : 0 ∼ 40℃ (32 ∼ 104℉)
When preserving the machine : -25 ∼ 55℃ (-13 ∼ 131℉)
- Humidity : Within 45 ∼ 90% (Relative humidity)
▣ Check points before transportation (※ VERY IMPORTANT ※)
2.2. Balancing the machine
The four feet serve to center the machine. Make sure that the weight is evenly distributed on the four feet. - Place the machine on even surface to work on.
- Alter the height by turning the knob .

WARNING When you convey or lift up/down the machine with the conveying devices, you should keep the horizontal balance of machine to protect the machine from transportation and confirm worker’s safety.

2.3. Electrical connection
Before installing and operating the machine, make sure the input voltage is proper range
as below.
- Input voltage : AC 110/220V , 50/60㎐ , 1 phase
- Available range of voltage : Within 10% of regular voltage
- Electric power : 240W
- Power cable : IEC53 3G×1.5㎟
Connect the power cable to the power inlet .

CAUTION Fasten the nut to fix the machine tightly from shaking by turning screw.

2.4. Pneumatic connection (Back side of machine)

The pneumatic system of the machine must be supplied with waterless compressed air.
The air supply line pressure must be between 7 and 10 bar.
set up a waterspout under the pneumatic system.
▣ Connecting the compressed-air hose
- Connect the hose to the air-fitting .
- Use 10×6.5 ㎜ POLYURETHANE TUBE.
▣ Adjusting the operating pressure
The operating pressure is between 5 and 6 bars. It can be read from the pressure gauge
.
- Increase pressure : lift up rotating handle and turn to clockwise.
- Decrease pressure : lift up rotation handle and turn to counter-clockwise.
- After adjusting the air pressure, lock the rotation handle by pressing it.
CAUTION The following instructions must be observed for the proper function of machine. The compressed-air system must be enough capacity for a minimum operating pressure of between 5~6 bar to be maintained even at the moment of peak air consumption.

Using the RS232C communication cable included in the machine, connect machine with
computer.
- Connect DB9-connector (9pin female) to the COM1/COM2 port of PC and
RS232C port of machine.
Or you can use USB B type to A type cable to USB B type port of machine
CAUTION Turn the power of computer and machine off before connecting communication cable (RS232C or USB).

3. Operation
3.1. Running the machine
▣ Use of machine
CAMS 1V-2P is to make Hotfix motif using the data created by computer design program
called GemMaster. You can make Hotfix motif efficiently with simple operation. It's
available up to 2 different size or different color of rhinestone and stud. Just make
design using GemMaster and send it to this machine. Put rhinestone to designated
Parts-feeder each according to the design created by GemMaster. Put transfer sheet
with sticky side up on XY table. Then it is ready to make Hotfix motif.

▣ Name and function of operation panel and each part of machine

Main disconnection switch
Put down the switch to power on the machine.
Emergency button
Press this button when emergency situation is occurred. Then electric power will be
disconnected soon. To restart machine, release this button by turning the knob to
clock wise direction after eliminating emergency factor.
LCD panel
It can show up to 4 lines of 16 letters. You can see the information on which menu
you are in and status of machine.
LED
There are three LEDs on operation panel. The first one from the left side is Green
color which is lit when power is on. The second one is yellow. When error is occurred
while the machine is running, machine will stop and this LED will start to blink. The
third one is red color. If you stop machine by pressing stop button on LCD menu
while running the machine, this LED will start to blink.
ESC, ALT, TAB, SET button
- ESC : This button is used to escape from the present menu.
- ALT : This button gives alternative function when pushed with other button. It's only
used in some menu.
- TAB : This button is used to move cursor to next position.
- SET : This button is used to enter submenu or do the function of selected item.
Up/Down/Left/Right arrow key
These keys are used to increase or decrease Figure in SYSTEM menu, or to move
cursor in OUTPUT menu, or to move GUN module to designated position when cursor
is on GUN in SYSTEM/ORG.ADJ/MPART/ menu.

Vacuum sensor
It shows the value of vacuum when GUN nozzle (see Figure 3.5) vacuum is on.
USB Port
It is used to upgrade program through this port

Parts feeder
This is to supply rhinestones to GUN nozzle. Each Parts feeder has an aluminum
wheel which has 30 holes at the same distance from the center. By this aluminum
wheel, rhinestones are aligned.
XY plate
There are four XY plates that are to move transfer sheet to the designated position to
make Hotfix motif. Each XY plate has the working area 250×300mm. They are driven
by two step motors. One is for X axis, the other is for Y axis.

(※ Don’ t put any heavy weight stuff on the plate.)
GUN module
This is for picking up rhinestones from Parts feeder and supplying it to setter nozzle.
Setter module
This is for setting rhinestones to XY table after receiving rhinestones from GUN
module.
Parts feeder proximity sensor
This is for finding out Parts feeder wheel origin position.
Gun origin sensor
This is for finding out Gun module origin position
Setter origin sensor
This is for finding out Setter module origin position

Solenoid block
This is to control each pneumatic cylinder movement.

Pneumatic system
This purify the air, filter the water contained in the air, and regulate the compressed
air then, it is supplied to the solenod block.
Vacuum generator
This is to generate vacuum for Gun holder and Setter to grip rhinestone.
▣ Check point before power on
Before Power on, for your safety, Make sure that Locking Knob is fixed to the Part feeder
bracket. If the parts feeder bracket is not fixed and driven in the moving then the swing
module hits on the parts feeder module, vacuum holder and cylinder rod could be injured.

Before power on, make sure Air switch is located at off position. (see Figure 3.8)

If Swing module is located at parts-feeder side, place Gun module at ‘ Exchange
position’ ( in Figure 3.7) manually before power on. (see Figure 3.9)

▣ Power on
Turn the power on by pushing main disconnection switch to ON position.
Below message will appear on LCD.

After 1 second, LCD will turn to below menu and wait user button input.

Turn on the Air switch by turning the knob. (see Figure 3.8)
▣ Data download from PC
1) Move cursor by pressing TAB button to 2.LOAD on Top Menu (Figure 3.12). Then
press SET button.(figure 3.13 Left)
2) Put the cursor to 1.Serial menu, then press SET button then LCD will turn to below
message.(figure 3.13 Right)

Now machine is ready to download data from PC. Click icon on GemMaster with left
mouse button.
* If below error message shows up on PC monitor (see Figure 3.14), take the following
step.
(1) Make sure that machine is connected with PC by RS232C cable or USB cable (see
Figure 2.6. Communication cable connection) (2) Turn the power off and turn it on again. Then take above instruction step.
(3) click File / Settings menu then GemMaster configuration window will show up.
Change the parameter to correct value. Make sure that Baud Rate must be set to
57600.
(4) If error message appears when Com Port is set to COM1, and Baud Rate is set to
57600, change Com Port to COM2.
(5) If error message appears when Com Port is set to COM2, and Baud Rate is set to
57600, change Com Port to COM1. (see Figure 3.15)

When file load is done successfully, LCD will show below menu.

When cursor is on GoToRun, press SET button. LCD will show below menu.

Move cursor to Run by pressing TAB button. Press SET button when cursor is on Run.
Machine will start running. Before running, you must put rhinestones to its proper Parts
feeder according to GemMaster data file you downloaded from PC. You can move
Magazine with 1step by pressing 'Left or Right arrow button' when cursor is on
〈M〉after finding Magazine origin position by pressing 'SET' button.
If you press ALT button when cursor is on ESC then you can select the head you want to

run. (Figure 3.38)
▣ Running
LCD will show below menu at RUNNING. At this menu you can stop running by pressing
'SET' button. But Stop button will operate after air cylinders start moving.

When you press SET button LCD will turn to below menu.

If you press Left arrow button then you can adjust each size of stone’ s parameters.
In case you want to continue, press SET button when the cursor is on CONTINUE, or
move cursor to CANCEL and press SET button to quit running. When you run again after
canceling work, you can restart from the point you stopped before or from the first point.

When the cursor is on Step, you can control the last step point which CAMS worked
before. Each button has a function as shown in Table 3.1 when cursor is on Step.

▣ Setting the vacuum sensor
There is a Vacuum sensor on front panel of the machine. Here, you will learn how to set
DP2-20-P (SUNX made). Vacuum sensor looks like as Figure 3.21.

Move cursor to '4.OUTPUT’ at Top menu and press 'SET' button.
Move cursor to the position as below using 'UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT' arrow button.
Now the cursor is on OUT0.0. OUT0.0 is output port for GUN vacuum.
When the cursor is on as above, you can make GUN vacuum On/Off by pressing SET
button.
Press SET button. Then '.' will turn to 'O' as Figure 3.22 and GUN vacuum will turn on.
※ OUT0.0 : GUN vacuum, OUT 0.1 : SETTER vacuum

Read the Figure which is displayed on vacuum sensor. Let's regard it as n1. Just think
its absolute value (ignore minus sign). Maybe, it will be around 40.
Put the small piece of paper to the end of GUN nozzle. Then vacuum sensor figure will
increase in absolute value. It will be around 80 or more. Let's regard it as n2.
Now you can imagine that n1 is the Figure when GUN nozzle fail to pick up stone from

Parts feeder wheel, and n2 is the maximum figure when GUN nozzle picks up stone
successfully. Maybe it will be a little than n2 when GUN nozzle pick up stone because of
vacuum leakage through the gap between stone and GUN nozzle.
Use formula below, figure out P1, P2.
P1=P2-1 , P2=n2-(n2-n1)/3
Press 'MODE' button which is on vacuum sensor. Then P1 will blink. Using Up-arrow
button and Down-arrow button on vacuum sensor, set P1 value you got from formula
above.
After setting P1, press 'MODE' again. P2 will be blink. Using Up-arrow button and
Down-arrow button on vacuum sensor, set P2 value you got from formula above.
When GUN nozzle pick up stone from Parts feeder wheel and vacuum sensor reach to
P2, OUT1 LED will be turned on. When OUT1 LED is on, machine regards that GUN
nozzle picks up stone successfully. Once OUT1 LED turns on, it will last until vacuum
sensor down to reach P1.
When GUN move down again even though it is holding stone, reduce P2 a little.
When GUN move to Right even though it fails to pick up stone, increase P1 a little.
☞ Normally, set the P1 at about 55.0 and P2 at about 56.0.
▣ INPUT
Move cursor to ‘ 3.INPUT’ at Top menu and press SET button. Now you are in INPUT
mode.

This is for the test of each sensor input status. When sensor is on, one of dots on LCD
which is assigned to this sensor will turn to I.
To escape from this menu, push ESC button.

▣ OUTPUT
Move cursor to 4.OUTPUT at Top MENU and press SET button. Now you are in OUTPUT
mode.

This is for test of each output port status. In this mode, you can move cursor using 2
arrow buttons (left, right). TAB button is not used to move cursor in this mode. You can
toggle output by pressing SET button. When output port is Active, it displays 'O'. (oh is
not zero ! ☞ O : Output)
※ It's very important not to change any output port status on this mode without fully
understand which port is assigned to what. If you change output port status without
knowing that, the machine can get damage.

▣ TEST
Move cursor to ‘ 5.TEST’ on Top menu. Press SET button. Now you are in TEST mode.
There are three sub menu prepared for TEST mode. This is for testing each motor of
machine manually. Move cursor by pressing TAB button to the section you want. Then
follow the below sentences.

▣ SYSTEM
■ M_PART
Move cursor on the 6.SYSTEM’ on the top menu and press SET button, then LCD will
turn to as below.

Cursor will be on 1.M_PART when you enter SYSTEM menu. Press SET button. Now
you are in 'MAG/PART'.

Cursor will be on 1.MAG when you enter M_PART menu. Already magazine is selected
‘ LEFT’ . If you press SET button on the 1.MAG , then ‘ MAG’ is going to change
‘ RIGHT’ re-press SET button, ‘ LEFT’ .

LEFT(PF1) in selected, move cursor to ‘ P/F’ and press SET button. Parts Feeder
wheel will start moving to find out its origin point. After finding out its origin point, it
will move to 'Gem pick up position ( in Figure 3.7)' and '*****' will turn to proper
value and its coordinate will be shown as Figure 3.31.
In case you want to adjust Parts feeder coordinate, press Left arrow button or Right
arrow button, then you can move Parts feeder figure. If you are going to adjust to work
position then as above move cursor to 1.MAG press SET button.

This means Parts feeder wheel is located at ‘ Gem pick up position’ and its
coordinate is 00200.
Move cursor to ‘ GUN’ . Gun is the upper cylinder module which has pick up holder at
the end of it. In case you want to adjust Gun module position, after press SET button,
Left arrow button or Right arrow button, then you can move Gun module to ‘ Gem pick
up position’ or ‘ Exchange position’ . When Gun module located ‘ Gem pick up
position’ , press Up button or Down button, then you can move Gun module to upside
or downside.

In the state which the Gun is down, look carefully whether the stone hole in parts
feeder wheel is exactly matched with Gun nozzle. If it is not correctly matched, you try
to match by spinning parts feeder wheel.

Move cursor to ‘ 2.SWING’ on the ‘ 6.SYSTEM’ menu and press SET button, then

Now cursor is on 'value' and press SET button. Gun module will start moving to find
out its origin point. After finding out its origin point, it will move to 'Exchange position'
and '****' will turn to proper value and its coordinate will be displayed as Figure 3.34.

This means Gun module is located at 33 steps right from origin point. In case you want
to adjust Gun module to make plumb. Press Left arrow button or Right arrow button,
then you can move Gun module.
■ SPIN
Move cursor to ‘ 3.SPIN’ and press SET button, then LCD will turn to as below.

This means Gun module is located at 33 steps left from origin point. In case you want
to adjust Gun module to make plumb. Press Left arrow button or Right arrow button,
then you can move Gun module.
※ If you press up or down button then you can move setter cylinder.
■ XY
Move cursor to ‘ 4.XY’ and press SET button, then LCD will turn to as below.

Press Tab button. XY table will start moving to find out its center point. After finding
out its center point, '*****:*****' will turn to proper value and its coordinate will be
displayed as Figure 3.38.

This means XY center point is 8116 steps away from X axis origin point and 9740
steps away from Y axis origin point. In case you want to adjust origin point. Press Left,
Right, Up and Down arrow button, then you can move XY table. Most suitable point is
center point of XY table.
■ PARA~
Move cursor to ‘ 5.PARA~’ and press SET button, then LCD will turn to as below.

Now you are in PARAMETER SET mode. There are six sub menu prepared for
PARAMETER SET mode. This is for adjusting work speed of each parts feeder
manually. Move cursor by pressing TAB button to the section you want. If you press
SET button when cursor is on ~SS6 then LCD will turn to as below.

There are six parameters. The parameters in the PARA~ menu is shown in 10ms. This
means ‘ PK’ is 3×10ms, and pick up calibration value means delaying time of Gun
nozzle at the ‘ Gem pick up position’ . So if ‘ PK’ has high value, then gem pick up
time will be increased but the movement will be more exact. Press Up arrow button or
Down arrow button, then you can adjust value. ‘ EX’ means delaying time of Gun
nozzle at the ‘ Exchange position’ and ‘ ST’ means delaying time of Setter nozzle
when Setter nozzle set down the gem at the XY table. ‘ SW’ means speed of gun
module when gun module move to ‘ gem exchange position’ with gem. ‘ SP’
means speed of setter module when setter module move to XY stage side with gem.
Now, if you press SET button when cursor is on ‘ COMMON’ then LCD will turn to as
below.

Now you are in COMMON PARAMETER mode. There are four sub menu prepared for
COMMON PARAMETER mode. This is for adjusting common work speed. Move cursor
by pressing TAB button to the section you want.
‘ SET_VAC’ means delaying time of setter cylinder after Setter nozzle set down gem
at the XY table.

‘ SW_LEFT’ means speed of swing module when swing module move to ‘ gem
exchange position’ without gem.
‘ SP_UP’ means speed of setter module when setter module move to ‘ gem

‘ SETTER ON’ means delaying time of setter module when setter cylinder is coming
up without gem.
■ DrSET
Move cursor to ‘ 6.DrSET’ and press SET button, then LCD will turn to as below.
There are six sub menu prepared for DRIVER PARAMETER mode. This is for adjusting
Current of motor driver. Move cursor by pressing TAB button to the section you want.

3.2. Error message and troubleshooting
When error occurs while running the machine, machine stops and error code display on
LCD. You can find out what causes error by this error code.
1. Main air pressure fail ( Error code : ‘ 1’ )
1) Cause of error : CAMS 1V-2P can’ t get a supply air.
2) Check the following.
Is air switch turned on?
If air switch turned off, then turn on it.
Is the scale of air service unit between 5 and 6 bar?
NO - lift up rotating handle of air service unit and turn to clockwise.
YES – Go to next step
Is air hose properly plugged into the fitting?
NO – connect Air hose into the fitting.

2. Swing right position fail ( Error code : ‘ 2’ ) 1) Cause of error : Swing origin sensor can’ t recognize swing position.
2) Check the following.
Is the sensor cable connected to the sensor properly?
NO – connect sensor cable to the sensor.
YES – Go to next step
Check swing origin sensor.
If sensor is not good, then change Swing origin sensor.
Whether sensor is working or not, You can check in the INPUT mode.
Does the sensor dog fasten to gun bracket tightly?
Do the sensor dog Fasten to gun bracket tightly.

3. Gun Up/Down sensor fail ( Error code : ‘ 3’ ) 1) Cause of error : When gun cylinder up time is more than 2.5sec.
2) Check the following.
Check Air on/off switch and pressure of air service unit(5~6bar)
Check gun up/down sensor.
If gun rod is stuck tightly to gun bracket, then put oil to gun rod and move
up and down a few times

4. X Axis positioning fail (ccw) ( Error code : ‘ 10’ ) 1) Cause of error :
X origin sensor can’ t recognize X senor dog at the origin point. (left)
2) Check the following.
Is the sensor cable connected to the sensor properly?
NO – connect sensor cable to the sensor.
YES – Go to next step
Check X axis origin sensor.

2) Check the following.
Is the sensor cable connected to the sensor properly?
NO – connect sensor cable to the sensor.
YES – Go to next step
Check Y axis origin sensor.
If sensor is not good, then change Y axis origin sensor.
Whether sensor is working or not, you can check in the INPUT mode.
6. SWING positioning fail (ccw) ( Error code : ‘ 24’ ) 1) Cause of error :
Swing origin sensor can’ t recognize swing senor dog at the origin point. (gem
exchange position)
2) Check the following.
Is the sensor cable connected to the sensor properly?
NO – connect sensor cable to the sensor.
YES – Go to next step
Check Swing origin sensor.
If sensor is not good, then change Swing origin sensor.
Whether sensor is working or not, you can check in the INPUT mode.
7. Spin positioning fail (ccw) ( Error code : ‘ 25’ ) 1) Cause of error :
Spin origin sensor can’ t recognize Spin senor dog at the origin point. (bottom)
2) Check the following.
Is the sensor cable connected to the sensor properly?
NO – Connect sensor cable to the sensor.
YES – Go to next step

Check Spin origin sensor.
If sensor is not good, then change Spin origin sensor.
Whether sensor is working or not, you can check in the INPUT mode.
8. PF1 positioning fail (ccw) ( Error code : ‘ 27’ ) 1) Cause of error :
P.F.1 Proximity sensor can’ t recognize origin point. (ccw).
2) Take the following steps.
Check the working of PF1 proximity sensor.
Go to ‘ 6.SYSTEM’ press SET button.

9. Exceed maximum XY data number ( Error code : ‘ 30’ ) 1) Cause of error :
There are more than 14,000EA of gem in the design source.
2) Adjust quantity of gem less than 14,000EA in the GemMaster.

10. Wrong data sum (download again) ( Error code : ‘ 31’ ) 1) Cause of error :
Download wrong design motif file or data communication error.
2) Download data again at the GemMaster then check data cable and connection.
11. GUN down error(check sensor) ( Error code : ‘ 32’ ) 1) Cause of error :
When gun cylinder down time is more than 2.5sec.
2) check the following.
Check Air on/off switch and pressure of air service unit(5~6bar)
Check gun up/down sensor.
If gun rod is stuck tightly to gun bracket, then put oil to gun rod and move
up and down a few times
12. GUN up error(check sensor) ( Error code : ‘ 33’ ) 1) Cause of error :

13. Parts feeder empty(fail 30times) ( Error code : ‘ 34’ ) 1) Cause of error :
Check quantity of gem in the parts feeder cup(fill the parts feeder cup with gem)
and parts feeder origin point, parts feeder knob. Adjust gem pick-up position.
2) check the following.
Is the parts feeder cup filled with quantity of gem?
NO – Fill the parts feeder cup with gem
YES – Go to next step
look carefully whether the stone hole in parts feeder wheel is exactly
matched with Gun nozzle
If the stone hole in parts feeder wheel is not matched with Gun nozzle,
then you try to match by spinning parts feeder wheel.

14. PF2 positioning fail (ccw) ( Error code : ‘ 35’ ) 1) Cause of error :
P.F.2 Proximity sensor can’ t recognize origin point. (ccw).
2) See Error code : ‘ 27’
15. CAN COMM Cable Check ( Error code : ‘ 36’ ) 1) Cause of error :
The CAN COMM Cable connector is not properly plugged into the socket.
Check the connection of the CAN COMM Cable connector and the socket, then
Turn the power off and turn it on again.
Use two other CAN COMM Cable socket in Driver board and LCD board.
Exchange the CAN COMM Cable.
Consult with agent then test and exchange PCB board.
16. CAN COMM TimeOut ( Error code : ‘ 37’ ) 1) Cause of error :
LCD board don’ t have a response from the Driver board.
2) check the following.
Check the connection of the CAN COMM Cable connector and the socket, then
Turn the power off and turn it on again.
Use two other CAN COMM Cable socket in Driver board and LCD board.
Exchange the CAN COMM Cable.
Consult with agent then test and exchange PCB board.

4. Maintenance
▣ Check point before maintenance
For your safety, follow the below procedure before doing maintenance.
Turn off the main disconnection switch.
Turn off the Air on/off switch.
In case of opening the control box cover which is at the back side of machine, make
sure to take the power cable off the power connector for your safety.
(※ No one should open the control box cover except designated after sale service
personnel.)
If you face any suspicious situation during checking the machine, contact your local
Service Agent.
▣ Water drain (check every day by operator)
If water is gathered in Air filter , water separator and air service unit , then it is
drained automatically. Therefore you must set up a waterspout under the pneumatic
system.

※ It is not needed to turn off main disconnection switch when water drain is executed.
※ To prevent injuries, release compressed air completely before inspection
IMPORTANT The pneumatic system of machine must be supplied with waterless compressed air.

using compressed air gun for good system condition.

5. Adjustment for the main parts of the machine
▣ How to adjust machine and design program to get a good result.

5.1. Timing belt tension adjustment
Check timing belt tension of X axis and Y axis first. If it is too loose, it is difficult to get a
good result as shown on the PC monitor. If the tension is too high, motor shaft and timing
belt can get damage easily.
I recommend to adjust it as much as the tension of classic guitar string
Use X axis and Y axis tension bolt shown in Figure 5.2.

5.2. Parts feeder and gun module adjustment
1) For adjust the PF1 parts feeder plate, Move the
Magazine part.
6.SYSTEM / 1.M_PART menu
Press set button when cursor is on ‘ 1.MAG’
Press set button when cursor is on ‘ 2.P/F’
2) Swing the gun cylinder.
6.SYSTEM / 1.M_PART menu
Press set button when cursor is on ‘ 3.GUN’
then gun module will be located at origin point.
Now press left arrow button then gun module
will be located at ‘ gem exchange position’ .
3) Up and Down the gun cylinder for checking
align the gun nozzle and parts feeder plate hole. If
alignment status is not good, move the parts feeder
plate by (+) or (-).

Press set button when cursor is on ‘ 2.P/F’ then part feeder will be located origin
point. Press left arrow button(ccw) or right arrow button(cw) then you can adjust work
position of part feeder.
4) After finish to adjusting the PF1 parts feeder plate, Next to PF2 parts feeder plate.
6.SYSTEM / 1.M_PART menu
Press SET button when cursor is on ‘ 1.MAG’ .
5) Following the sequence 1)~3) and same to PF2 parts feeder plate
6) If you replace parts feeder plate, for example you
need to change SS10 plate to SS16 in PF2 parts
feeder position, at first replace parts feeder
plate(P.F.P) and press set button for checking
rotating P.F.P correctly and then check alignment

5.3. Gun module and setter module Adjustment
1) Adjust gun module origin position.

Press set button when cursor is on ‘ Value’ .

to make plumb. If you press up arrow button or
down arrow button then you move setter
cylinder forward or backward.
3) Check aligns between the Gun Nozzle and Setter Nozzle.
4) If the alignment is not good, move the Setter Cylinder by (+) or (-).

5.4. Table Position Adjustment
1) Adjust proper XY center position.

find out its center point. After finding out its

5.5. Prepare Line data using GemMaster
Draw Lines using GemMaster as shown in Figure 5.5 This is for making it easy to see how
the machine set stones on XY table.
I recommend to using SS10 rhinestone and setting the distance to 1mm.
