Objective

The objective of the Campus Startup School is to

1. Sensitize, Aware and Educate students about

startups, further increasing their chances of success

2. Identify and Support startups and entrepreneurial

students to help them build successful businesses

who are planning to start very

build some product but don’t

Student who are running their

support to scale up

Knowledge Sessions

01Ideation using Design Thinking

This session will cover fundamentals of Idea

Generation and Design Thinking.

The attendees will be taken through Design

Thinking Framework and will be asked to

jump into the shoes of multiple stakeholders

so that they can generate a more

empathetic and realistic business idea.

02Market Analysis

This session will help the attendees in

analysing the market for creating a business.

They will do an opportunity analysis and

market research around the solution. They

will also build a broad customer profile

through which they can analyse the total

size of the market and will also perform a

competitive analysis to find the business

positioning.

03Lean Model Canvas

Lean Model Canvas will help in formulating

possible business models, product launch,

unique value proposition, channels, target

audience etc.

This will help in creating a board structure

for business and will show the birds eye

view of the entire business landscape.

04MVP Development

A minimum viable product (MVP) is a

development technique in which a new

product or website is developed with

sufficient features to satisfy early adopters.

The final, complete set of features is only

designed and developed after considering

feedback from the product's initial users.

05Go-T0-Market Strategy

Go-to-Market strategy is an action plan that

specifies how will you reach customers and

achieve competitive advantage. The

purpose of a GTM strategy is to provide a

blueprint for delivering a product or service

to the end customer, taking into account

such factors as pricing and distribution.

06Financial Modelling

Financial modeling is the task of building an

abstract representation (a model) of a real

world financial situation

Identify revenue streams, income, expenses

and other areas where money is involved.

This will help in understand how finance

would work for the business.

07Fundraising FundamentalsThere are multiple ways of raising money

for the startups. This session will cover all

the aspects around fundraising, the

mistakes entrepreneurs make and also

roadmap to various possible fundraising

streams.

08Create a Pitch Deck

Pitch Deck is a document which is used to

showcase an idea to an investor so that he

can invest in the business. Right from

content of pitch deck to its structure, to

flow of the deck to story around the

startups all of these aspects will be covered

in this session. Also DIY design tips and best

practices of pitching will also be covered.
