CampusPolicy Chapter Registration Agreement
This agreement serves as a means of making formal the relationship between
CampusPolicy and your chapter. CampusPolicy is an organisation that does not impose any ideological views on your chapter and simply exists to help you
formulate policy recommendations in your university. Having said this,
CampusPolicy cannot exist without you having a say in the way it is run and
aiding in building Campuspolicy. With this in mind, please read the agreement
and have the person of authority in your organisation sign to join the network.
CampusPolicy Resolves to
1, Continue to be an independent organisation that will never impose ideologicalviewpoints or constraints, nor will we attempt to influence your policy
recommendations in any way. Certain policy recommendations will be promoted
from time to time by CampusPolicy but these will be chosen based on their merit
as innovative solutions to problems and not on their political standpoints.
Furthermore, we will never allow CampusPolicy to be influenced by outside
organisations or governments and will always do what is right for the benefits of
our chapters and our members.
2. Support your chapter by any means possible. We will work to promote your
chapter, find you speakers, get you publicity, link you with other student think
tanks and in time, find you funding. Our team of advisors will be with you at
every step of the way to help you with a particular issue and if you are a new
chapter, we will visit to help run workshops and plan events etc.
3. Build associations and network with think tanks and policy makers around the
world and across the political spectrum. We will work to secure exclusive
CampusPolicy internships, work placements and other opportunities that will be
available to your members. This will give your students further incentive to get
involved in your chapter and write articles as a means of getting their foot in the
door with think tanks and other organisations.
4. Maintain a democratic structure and make the organisation directly
accountable to your members. CampusPolicy is simply an aggregate of all the
chapters and their members and as a result, your chapter and others will have a
complete say over everything that goes on. We recognise the need for a
centralised administrative committee that will be able to put in the time and
effort to maintain the website, help chapters to collaborate, organise conferences
and build publicity for CampusPolicy and its chapters, but this committee will be
directly accountable to the chapters and their members.
b) Note: Until March 1st , 2013, CampusPolicy’s committee will be
composed of members of individual chapters as we work towardsbuilding a democratic structure that will last into the future. With this in

mind, you are welcome to nominate a committee member to sit on the
CampusPolicy committee. As more members join and as CampusPolicy
becomes more institutionalised, we will move towards a system of
democratic governance composed of a nominated guidance committee, an
elected administrative committee and a rotating presidency. March 1st
2013 is the very latest that this will happen.
5. Promote your chapter as much as all of the other chapters in the network and
work to promote articles that you may publish based on their relative merit. We
will ask before using any of your intellectual property such as pictures and
articles.
6. If your website is hosted by CampusPolicy, we will ensure that you retain full
control over the content and functioning of the website as long as you are a
CampusPolicy chapter.
Your Chapter Resolves to

prominently on your website. Any further mentions of your
relationship/support for CampusPolicy on your website would be appreciated
but are not compulsory.

descriptions of your organisation. It is not necessary to put CampusPolicy’s logo
on posters or to mention CampusPolicy on posters and other publicity materialalthough it would be very much welcomed.
3. Inform your members of the opportunities available within CampusPolicy,
particularly the opportunity to publish in WorldPolicy and the chance to attend
conferences etc.
4. Place the CampusPolicy logo and a description about CampusPolicy in your
