MORAGETEMAP

Nine years ago, when my wife, Amelia, and I started this journey, we set a goal. Everyone

that comes here should learn and have a great time. We have been trying, since the beginning, to hire the best teachers and counsellors in order to build a fun, yet educational, English Full Immersion camp. To ensure that the children's experience in Campus Moragete is an unforgettable one, we create our lessons, games and activities with the utmost care. The year we launched, 450 children visited our camp. We were off to a great start! This year, 17,000 children joined us, and we could not be happier. Thank you, a million times over, to those who have always believed in our project.

Who are we?C ampus Moragete is an

educational complex dedicated to extracurricular

activities. Our complex, situated in the Natural Park ‘‘Hoces del Cabriel’’ is the realization of the Ramos Martinez family’s dream; a place designed for children to learn English while having a unique experience and making amazing memories. We developed our English activities with the focus of interaction and innovation in mind, all the while applying the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) second language acquisition method.

Our activities comprise roleplays, debates and games. We also offer a variety of multiadventure, athletics and nature-focused activities. Indubitatly, it is the combination of authentic learning and fun that was the key to our growth in such a short amount of time. The latter growth also meant expanding our facilities, moving from a capacity of 80 people to one of 320 people. This year, Campus Moragete was proud to work with over 150 schools all over Spain.

Founders’

Native English teachersAll of our English teachers are native speakers, coming from Anglophone countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, the United States, New Zealand, etc. Moreover, 90% of them have graduated or are studying in fields related to sciences, education or languages.

Small groups for English Immersion We are dedicated to teaching students in small groups, as it allows the children to be actively involved and to communicate freely. Hence, groups of 10 to 12 students allow us to maximize the students’ learning as much as possible.

MultiadventureMany activities under the realm of multivadventure can be realized within our facilties. One of these is Tubing, for which we built the longest slide in Spain (325m).

Time optimizationOur large team and great organization skills allow us to create small groups and guarantee that a wide array of activities can be held simultaneously. In Moragete, we make the most of every day!

SecurityOur well-trained team of monitors guarantees an optimal level of security, especially when it comes to the children playing in our Adventure Park, which was certified with the highest level of security.

NatureCampus Moragete was founded at the heart of ‘‘Hoces del Cabriel’’, a natural reserve. Being completely immersed in nature, the children have the opportunity to live marvelous experiences on our campus.

Homemade foodWe are committed to making food just like at home with ingredients of the highest quality. We serve 5 meals a day and the children can have seconds if they want to.

Large capacity Even though we insist on dividing the children in small groups, we are one of the few campuses that can accomodate 320 people. This enables various schools from different parts of Spain to meet each other!

No pocket-money neededOur campus was built on a system where children do not need to spend any pocket money. Indeed, we grant points to the children according to their participation in activities. This also encourages students to communicate in English as much as possible, as we are rewarding their effort with points. At the end of their stay, the students can exchange those points for candy, freebies, and more!

Not only is our campus one of the largest in Spain in terms of surface, but it is one of the biggest in terms of accomodation capacity. This way, we can host our students in a comfortable manner. The multiple dorms all have showers, and bathrooms. Moreover, in the dorms for children of twelve years old and under, a monitor always sleeps in the room, for safety reasons.

Our ‘‘claustro’’, a newly-built hotel for visiting teachers, has single, double, triple and quadruple occupancy rooms. The rooms are cleaned daily and all have a private bathroom, including a shower. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the hotel! We insist on creating a warm, serene and welcoming environment so that our clients feel right at home. After a day immersed in the breathtaking nature of Campus Moragete, it is primordial to rest and recover!

Following the Mediterranean tradition, we offer 5 meals a day: breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and supper. Serving food for over 200 students every day would not be possible without our fully-equipped industrial kitchen and our sensational team of cooks who created a homemade menu full of flavor that the kids enjoy. We cook with fresh products of the highest quality. Our English teachers serve the meals, which allows the students to practice ordering food. Moreover, the teachers eat and converse with the kids.

This program mainly offers Multiadventure activities, combining adrenaline, athletics and games, given in Castilian Spanish

in the heart of our fully-equipped campus. Moreover, the program also includes entertaining activities in English.

The children’s security is primordial, which is why our activities are always held in Castilian Spanish and under the supervision of a qualified monitor. Fun and adrenaline are on the menu! Experience a life-changing adventure!

The program includes an infinity of activities held exclusively in English by native teachers. We use some of the most innovative

and interactive pedagogical techniques; such as Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). Indubitably, it is our unmatched way of combining a practical and fun approach to English classes that makes us unique. Our classes are adapted to the level of our learners in a way that optimizes their learning. This program also includes Multiadventure activities, given in Castilian Spanish. Our ultimate goal is making each day as magical as can be for our campers.

This year, we included new activities that make the experience in Campus Moragete even more thrilling and unique. In order to continuously improve our programs, not only do we take into account our visiting teachers’ feedback, but also the children and their parents, whom, every year, trust us to repeat the experience. We value this feedback, because we know that, together, we can make Campus Moragete an even more magical place. The new activities we created this year focus on making the most of the marvelous nature present in the Park ‘‘Hoces del Cabriel’’. We created activities such as ‘‘Nature Walk’’; which is an excursion that informs students on the nature that surrounds us. Stargazing is also on the menu, as we must take advantage of our clear skies (only possible because we are far from the pollution). Finally, a few workshops on renewable energies will be held.This year, we are, even more than usual, raising students’ awareness on environmental issues!
