We invite our friends and family members to pick up their registration packets, schedule of events, campus map, T-shirt, and other items! While we prefer that guests complete the online registration process to aid us in the planning of the weekend, you may also register upon arrival.

Fraternity/Sorority Information Reception 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. - Lynn Business Center, LBC 124The office of Fraternity and Sorority Involvement invites you to learn more about Stetson’s fraternity and sorority chapters at Stetson University. Our Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Involvement will be educating parents on what it means to be Greek on Stetsons campus. You will also hear from some of our student leaders about their experience being involved in Greek Life, and answer any questions you have after your student received a bid to join one of our chapters.

Faculty Recital 7:30 p.m.-Elizabeth Hall, Lee Chapel Enjoy some wonderful musical pieces played on two pianos by Dr. Bom and Rose Grace, professor of music at Bethune Cookman. They will play music by American composers, including Gershwin, Debussy, and Ravel.

BCF Dessert Theatre 7:30 p.m. — Allen Hall Baptist Collegiate Fellowship invites you to enjoy a sweet selection of songs and skits following a game show theme. Desserts and coffee will be served. The cost is $5 for any who would like to attend with proceeds going to support the annual Spring Break mission trip sponsored by BCF in partnership with other Stetson ministries and organizations. Doors open at 7:15pm.

President’s Jazz and Juice Breakfast 9 - 10:30 a.m. — Rinker Native Plant Garden at the President’s HomePresident Wendy Libby and Dr. Richard Libby invite all friends and family members to their garden for a continental breakfast featuring a juice bar and jazz music. Here guests will have the opportunity to hear more about the direction and vision of Stetson from our leader.

DeLand Craft Show 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Along Main Street in Downtown DeLandArtisans from all over our state will display and sell their handmade items along Main Street in Downtown DeLand. Entertainment, demonstrations by crafters, children’s activities and more! Admission and parking are free at this event.

Rinker Welcome Center Dedication and Ribbon Cutting11 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. - Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Welcome Center Please join us as we open the new Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Welcome Center! Located adjacent to the Stetson Green, this three-story building is home to our Office of Admissions, Career and Professional Development, Student Financial Planning, Registrar and Bursar offices as part of Stetson’s convenient “One Stop” service area for students. It also welcomes all alumni and prospective families to our beautiful campus.

Shuttle to Hatter Village and the Football Game4 p.m. - 11 p.m. - Residential Parking Lot Located on Bert Fish Drive Come catch a shuttle to Spec Martin Stadium for the football game! The shuttle will run continuously staring at 4 p.m. (three hours before kickoff) until 11 p.m.

Hatter BBQ before the Football Game 4 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. - Outside of Spec Martin Stadium (on the corner of Alabama Ave. and Hubbard Ave.)Come mingle with your friends and family while enjoying delicious barbequed food and beverages before the football game. Individuals attending must present the ticket given to them at Friends & Family Weekend Check-In to receive a meal.

Visit Hatter Village before the Football Game 4 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. - Outside of Spec Martin Stadium (on the corner of Alabama Ave. and Hubbard Ave.)Join us at Hatter Village, Stetson’s community tailgate party! There will be many organizations with games, giveaways, 4and a fun college football game day atmosphere. Parking for this will begin at 3 p.m. *

Football (vs. Jacksonville) 7 p.m. - Spec Martin Stadium Cheer on your Hatter Football team as they take on Jacksonville University! General admission at the door is $20 but guests can log onto www.GoHatters.com for discounted tickets at $10 each. Go to ‘Tickets’, click ‘Promotional Code’ and enter SUFAMJU16 for the ticket discount.

Men’s Soccer (vs. USC Upstate) 7 p.m. - Athletic Training Center (Amelia Avenue)Come cheer on our Men’s Soccer team as they take on USC Upstate. Ticket cost is $5 for general admission. Stetson students receive complimentary admission if they present their Stetson ID card at the door!

An Evening of ImprovTwo performances at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.- Stetson University’s Second Stage Theatre (600 N. Woodland Blvd) A hilarious production whereby teams of talented performers create numerous sketches using long form improv techniques. Admission to these performances is free but donations will be accepted.

Faculty Recital 7:30 p.m.-Elizabeth Hall, Lee ChapelEnjoy some wonderful musical pieces performed on the classical violin and piano by Stetson faculty members, Routa Kroumovitch and Michael Rickman. Music featured will include Prokofiev Sonata No. 1 for Violin and Piano and Brahm’s Piano Quartet No. 1 in G Minor.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25Volunteer with the DeLand Community! 10 - 11:30 a.m. - Center for Community Engagement (carpool to off-campus sites) The Center for Community Engagement will be hosting volunteer projects with local community partners for students, friends and families. Details on the service projects can be found on the RSVP form at stetson.edu/friendsandfamily. Space is limited to 30 volunteers so please RSVP to hold your spot!
