REACH
REACH IS THE SYSTEM THAT IMG ACADEMY UTILIZES TO PROCESS CAMPERS’ REQUESTS TO LEAVE CAMPUS PARENTS AND GUARDIANS HAVE ACCESS TO THIS SYSTEM TO SAFELY SUBMIT LEAVE REQUESTS THROUGH THE STEPS BELOW
Dear Parents and Guardians, IMG Academy has implemented the REACH School Boarding System to enhance the safety and security of your camper REACH coordinates Leave Request procedures for School staff, parents/guardians, and boarding campers by creating an easy to use, paperless system that you can access from anywhere at any time and from any device REACH is available for you to use from any computer or mobile device 24 hours a day, 7 days per week
Please note that parents and guardians will not receive separate REACH accounts as leave requests will be generated from your camper’s account using the email address we have on file for your camper
REACH will automate all Boarder Leave Request procedures It will allow you to approve or reject leave requests, submitted by your child, through an email that you will receive
THE PROCESS
Your camper will create a request to leave campus through the REACH system Based on Academy procedures, you may be asked to verify and give permission for a particular leave You will grant this permission through email that REACH will send to you An example of a leave a parent/guardian will receive is a “Final Checkout – Not Returning to IMG Academy”
For example, if your child will be completing their final departure from IMG Academy at the end of their reservation, you will be asked to give your implicit permission, by clicking a link in an automated email This action is recorded by the REACH system and will inform the Residential Mentor that you have given permission to leave campus (Please note the system requires return date, time, and transportation details and there is no way to override this Internally we designate “Final Checkout” leave and are aware this means the camper has completed their reservation and is not expected to return)
Your child now will be asked to sign out when they leave for final departure Any parent/guardian signing their child out or completing a final checkout will still need to present their photo ID at the Campus Life desk at the time of sign out Once approved, your camper is permitted to leave campus with your permission and ours
As always, you are encouraged to communicate with IMG Academy should you have any concerns or questions Please do not hesitate to reach out to your camper Residential Mentor, the Service Team, or campuslife@imgcom
The REACH Leave Request Process is required each time a boarding camper leaves campus unless it is at IMG Academy chaperoned trip
