MondayThis was it! Camp Kaitawa. Today was the day. The hot sun was beating down on us and the big walks, beautiful falls, slimy caves and smelly smoky cookouts.
MondayOn Monday Year 5’s couldn't wait to go to camp . First we had lunch at St Joseph’s School. Then we were off on the road. My car was singing songs all the time. At last we made it to Camp Kaitawa. Next we went on our walk. It was beautiful and the lake was nice.
Tuesday
On Tuesday we put lunch in our lunchbox then we went for our big walk. We got to see the 800-1000 year old tree . The place that we went to was a rain forest. It was buzzing . We walked so high, it was 1050 above sea level and we had lots of injuries . At the end we had lots of fun but then it was tea time then bed time.
WednesdayOn Wednesday before long we made progress walking. We went to the falls. It was beautiful. Then we did the obstacle course. Once again it was tea time.
ThursdayOn Thursday we went to the caves and in the mud. It took 3 hours. Next we played a rugby game. Then we had a cookout. Then bed.
FridayOn Friday we packed up . Then we went down to Wairoa. Then we got ice cream. Finally...
