Pastor JordanDear Campers, thank you and congratulations for making it to this camp! Da best talaga toh during summer! You see, almost 15 years

ago I attended my first camp and came out with “CHRIST-SANITY”. As you can see in my life, this was no ordinary craze because this is a lifetime one. Ever since I went to camp, I no longer live, but Christ lives

in me! Being identified with Christ is awesome and to be called crazy by this world because of this doesn’t really

make you crazy, but blessed! Jesus said “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.”(Matthew 5:11) Kaya dito na magpakacrazy sa LORD! Have fun in the program, meeting new

friends and most of all expriencing JESUS! I pray this will be our best yet! God bless you

Walang mawawala sayo..

Message from the Camp Director:

Camp director: Reggie CandanoWaz up dude!!!

I praise God for allowing us to have a summer camp this year. I could still remember that I was 13 years old when I first joined youth camps and I have never imagined that God will use me in His ministry, big time! From once an attendee to a frontliner, a member to a cell group leader, and yes, from a camper to a camp director. Everything is for His glory. As we enjoy learning and building friendships, I pray for God’s message to deal on each and every one of us – to stand and be firm with our faith and to live through His identity.I challenge every camper, GenConer and most especially the first timers to be more open in knowing and loving Jesus. For indeed, a life lived for Him is never a waste, never a regret. So, let’s get it on!God bless!

To the leader: Start a getting-to-know conversation and exploration about the group members that could bring up any noteworthy detail about their Christian life. Guide Questions: Meron ka bang kamukha o look-alike? Sino ‘to (only two to three members will share)?May kasabihan na yung lagi daw natin kasama, nakakamukha natin o nagiging kagaya. Sino ang lagi mong kasama? “Magkamukha” na ba kayo pati sa kilos, hilig at itsura?Sabi ng Lord, we are made into His image and likeness. Sabi ni Apostle Paul sa Romans 7:15” I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[c] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.”- Ano ang pinaniniwalaan mo bilang Christian? Devotion: May kasabihang “You are what you do”.

Day 1: Who Am I? Identifying yourself.

DEVOTION DAY 1

Page 11: CAMP FINAL

We do what we don’t want to do, like sin; but we can still choose to become Christ-like by being dead to ourselves.Paano ba mamatay sa sarili? It means to get up every day and tell yourself, “wala na si __(your name here)__, si Jesus na ito.” At you don’t need to be ready; you just need to be willing. We are here to pray for you.

DEVOTION DAY 2

To the leader: We are to be the ambassador of Christ in our group. Even in between or before our Devotion in this camp, we must imitate Christ as we lead these young people. Be focused and Patient. As we are to be leaders, we must learn to be a follower. It is always better to start a fire of believers in lighting even a one candle.Keynotes: (these questions can be used to spark a conversation on your devotions)Who is Christ for you? Anong masasabi mo na pwede mo Syang maging friend? Personal savior? Loving Lord? Merciful Judge? Mentor? How did Jesus start? How did the Prophets tell about the coming of Jesus Christ? Devotion: Saan nga ba nagsimula ang Christianity? Sa unang simbahan? Sa Old Testament?

In the same way, we lead by the same Spirit as Christ did. We have important roles to play, like standing in the gaps of growing youth cultures that thinks of Christianity as merely a religion. It is not just that. It’s a lifestyle above every culture. Make it happen!:- How is your life when you look at the example of Christ?- Let us pray for the saving grace of God to conquer those members who are still in the darkness.

13

Page 14: CAMP FINAL

DEVOTION DAY 3

To the Leader: Crucial ang role natin ngayon. At this day, we must have experienced a lot through the games, team building, trust development and communicating with our team members. The camp is about to end, pero let us make sure na walang stuck lang sa hype ng camp. A good camper is a person who brings the camp into his/her real world, being equipped on his newly found love (for first timers) or as a revived Christian set on a battlefield on the world out there. Keynotes: (these questions can be used to spark a conversation on your devotions)Tayo ay considered na “light of the world and a salt to this decaying earth”. We are to stand for Christ name by all means. Devotion: “20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

buhay natin, we are to make a stand for what He has done in this world.

Day 3: Being Identified as Christ-like Disciple.

14

DEVOTION DAY 3

What are we here for? We choose life over death. Nung sinabi ni Apostle Paul na we have been crucified with Christ, pati yung mga struggle natin ay pinako na sa krus. Parang tayo na din yung “raised from the dead”, kasi iiwan na natin yung mga kasalanan natin.May sense of purpose na rin tayo. Yun ang tinatawag nating ministry, o isang “lifestyle of purposeful journey”. Make it happen!:- Paano tayo nakikilala ng mga tao sa paligid natin?- Are we living the way God wants us to enjoy?- Tayo ang “salt” at “light” ng mundo.
