With a population of 345,000, Victoria is small enough to explore by foot or bus, yet it’s packed with enough activities to keep you busy year round.

University Transfer ProgramThe University of Victoria recognized the University Transfer Program offered by Camosun College and welcomes hundreds of Camosun College students each year. Both instriotutions are members of British Columbia’s Post-Secondary Transfer System.

The transfer process recognizeds courses completed at the college, making it easy for students to transfer to UVic after completing one or two years at Camosun. This means students may complete an undergraduate degree in four years, even though they may attend two different institutions.

How to transferStudents transferring to UVic programs must submit an undergraduate application to the university and achieve an acceptable average on their university transfer courses completed at Camosun College. Usually a minimum “B” average is required for admission.

If a students has completed eight university transfer courses (one full year of study) at Camosun College, their academic performance at secondary school will not be considered when applying to UVic. If a students has completed less than eight university transfer courses, then both college and secondary school averages will be required.
