CCAF is a strictly non-governmental and not for profit organization. CCAF is an experience organization working in the area of the early childhood education and community development program. CCAF’s Values: Equality, teamwork, loyalty, quality, effectiveness, integrity, dignity, dependability, flexibility, empowerment, responsibility, accuracy, accountability, friendliness, learning, collaboration, optimism, empathy, persistency, respect, wisdom and security. Purpose: To establish an NGO to provide a means to support and educate vulnerable children, to help in the reduction of poverty, and to assist the Cambodian government by filling critical gaps in existing services. Vision: We wish to see children receive adequate educational program, have the capability to become economically self-sufficient and to contribute to society in a sustainable way. Mission: To support the children and parents in the areas of education, intervention and the prevention of child labor, trafficking and oppression. Legal Status: CCAF is registered with the Ministry of Interior (Charity # 419, dated March 28, 2006) of the Royal Government of Cambodia. CCAF has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and was registered with Kampot Provincial Governor’s Office. Network: CCAF is a member of the NGO Education Partnership. It is a membership organization that coordinates dialogue and cooperation among key stakeholders to improve the quality and accessibility of education in Cambodia. 2. Major Achievements: Since its inception in early 2007, CCAF implemented two programs including pre-school and community development. This is only possible because of thoughtful contributions from charities and our friends. 1. Background

History: late 2005, the Cambodian Children's Advocacy Foundation (CCAF) was formed by a group of co-founders who have extensive experiences in managing NGO's. CCAF is a strictly non-governmental and not for profit organization. CCAF is an experience organization working in the area of the early childhood education and community development program.

CCAF’s Values: Equality, teamwork, loyalty, quality, effectiveness, integrity, dignity, dependability, flexibility, empowerment, responsibility, accuracy, accountability, friendliness, learning, collaboration, optimism, empathy, persistency, respect, wisdom and security. Purpose: To establish an NGO to provide a means to support and educate vulnerable children, to help in the reduction of poverty, and to assist the Cambodian government by filling critical gaps in existing services. One of CCAF Village Base pre-schools in Banteay Meas District, Kampot Province Healthcare and Nutrition Program: CCAF worked with the Health Center arranging nurses/doctors to conduct physical check ups and eye examinations for children. At the same time, CCAF team members and a health educator conducted health awareness for children and parents. While attending classes, students were given morning meals.

Art and Recreational Activities: CCAF conducted activities during classes and arranged special events for Human Rights Day, International Children’s Day, World Health Day and Khmer New Year. The activities and events allowed children to gain knowledge, knowledge learn to work together and develop social interaction skills. Community Development Program: CCAF worked with 899 farmers to implement on family fishponds, family chicken farms, agricultural training and other vocational training, development of self-help groups, creation of income generating initiatives, constructing wells for persons with disabilities referral for eye care for elderly people.

Previous beneficiary (right) return chickens to new family. Human Resources: Teachers have participated in training and mentoring programs to allow them to improve and strengthen their overall teaching capacity. The Education Unit Supervisor attended management training on project monitoring and evaluation. The Program Coordinator attended training in community development, negotiation and facilitation skills and project monitoring and evaluation. The CEO has experience in organizational management, basic private business management and is highly capable of managing the organization.

Income Generating Project of CCAF: We raised pigs, ducks, mushroom and vegetable. The income from sales was allowed CCAF to cover some administration cost for the project.
