Thank YouThank YouThank YouThank You Dear Church Family and Pastor King, Thank you very much for your

prayers, support, and visits during my hospital stay. I am feeling less like an invalid everyday and my freedom of motion continually improves – God is good! An important part of my rehabilitation is to stay put at home. I’ll look forward to seeing you all in March.

God Bless, Trudi Davis

We want to thank our church family for all the prayers, cards and dinners provided during Barbara's surgery and recovery. She is doing well and we truly appreciate all you have done.

Blessings, Barbara & Doug Joy

Dear Friends, and Church family at Calvary Community, I want to thank each and every one of you that prayed for me last weekend. God heard every one of them and acted accordingly; I was retaining too much fluid and my heart couldn't handle it. The doctor gave me a shot Monday morning. I lost 5 ½ pounds in the first 4 hours. May God Bless you all and thank you.

A VEHICLE TO USE IN THE STATES. With our arrival in the USA just four weeks from February 3, we need to nail down a vehicle we can use while in the USA. There are four of us and our luggage. While we will be spending most of our time in the Pacific NW, we have a trip to Western Wyoming and to Los Angeles and Phoenix that we’ll be driving on. Please pray with us for just the right vehicle and if you or someone you know might have a vehicle we could use, please let us know.

Dear Friend, December 2009 Thank you for praying for us! The Lord truly answers prayer and we praise

Him for it! We thank you also for being a part of our ministry in Costa Rica through your gifts and support. The Lord continues to give us many opportunities to evangelize in this needy country. One way is by Dan holding a series of informal talks on marriage, held in the home of Jorge and Francina. (New believers this year who are eagerly serving the Lord!) Dan just recently finished a three week seminar. There were decisions made for Christ among the guests and now the believers are doing follow up. The next seminar will be held this month (each Saturday up until Christmas) in a town called Birri, just outside of San Jose, on the slopes of a volcano. Some believers in our church from that town are praying to start a cell there. We would love it if the Lord would use this marriage seminar to bring couples to Christ, then entire families and a cell can soon open up there! Thank you for praying for the showing of the movie “Fireproof” among the

judicial branch of government employees. Dan has been asked to hold a series of follow-up discussions each Tuesday for those interested in the subject of marriage. We are praying this will lead to people in those key government positions turning to Christ. May this Christmas season be especially fruitful for the kingdom of God in

your life and ours! Pray: For the couples that turned to Christ at the recent marriage seminar and

for Jorge and Francina to continue to grow in the Lord. In Christ, Dan and Claudia Aanderud
