Cartagena

port city in south-eastern Spain, located on the shores of the Mediterranean. Its origins date back to the 8th century BC, when the Phoenicians founded one of their colonies here. Practically from the mid-sixteenth century in the city was the main base of the Spanish war fleet. The most important monuments of Cartagena are the impressive Gothic cathedral, located on the former Roman road Torre Ciega (Blind Tower), Archaeological Museum, the remains of a medieval castle and the ruins of the Roman theater (Augusteum).

Bolnuevo

is a village with more than 1,000 inhabitants located on the coast of the municipality of Mazarron in the region of Murcia, Spain. At the foot of the Sierra de las Moreras. In this district of the mazarronera there are geological formations known as "Las Gredas" or "Enchanted city", with rocky mushrooms several meters high and a rock wall modeled on similar forms. In November, the Pilgrimage of the Immaculate is celebrated, in which hundreds of people wander from the church of La Purísima in Mazarrón to a small hermitage in Bolnuevo, and then continue to celebrate with a meal (Moraga de Sardinas) on the beach, which usually gathers over a thousand people.

Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park

it's 45 hectares of rocky coast, orange and red plateaus, gorges, sandy beaches. They shaped volcanic activity millions of years earlier, hence the original climate of the area with a dry and semi-arid climate. 1,100 animal species live in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Park, some of them are threatened with extinction, and are overgrown by, among others agaves, cacti, dwarf bushes, desert grasses and miniature palm trees. Representatives of the African fauna and flora are also a common sight in this area.

Sierra Nevada

is a huge mountain massif in southern Spain. There is a lot to do here. You can walk in the mountains, climb, kayak, take a pontoon down the rushing stream and skate and ski in the winter. The city of Granada is the starting point for the Sierra Nevada National Park. The Mulhacén peak (3479m) towers over the entire national park, which is also the highest peak in all of Spain. All the postcards with the Alhambra have this mountain range in the background.

is one of the most popular cities in the Andalusia region. It is famous primarily for its beautiful architecture and well-preserved monuments that can take your breath away. One of such monuments is the Alhambra - the most beautiful palace and castle complex from the times of Muslim domination, which was ever created in Europe. You can spend several hours or a whole day visiting it. The second option allows you to fully delve into the architectural richness of this place, the unusual ornamentation and Generalifegardens full of lush vegetation. In addition to the standard visit, the Alhambra can also be visited at night.

This is one of the main tourist attractions near Malaga and the Costa del Sol. The walk lasting over an hour by the famous Road, or actually the King's "Lane", is a treat for lovers of hiking and beautiful landscapes. It is also something for those who occasionally like to feel the thrill.In some places, the Caminito del Rey trail largely runs along the rocky Desfiladero de los GaitanesGorge, through which the Guadalhorce River flows. The upright limestone walls are several hundred meters high.

city in southern Spain located 18 km from Ronda in the rocky canyon of the river Río Trejo. What particularly attracts tourists to this place are not necessarily the white facades of houses, and their unusual architecture. Squeezed between the steep rocks of the ravine, the buildings are an unusual sight, which sometimes arouses terror. A labyrinth of narrow streets (in some places their width does not exceed even two meters) and the rocky cliffs hanging overhead can cause claustrophobia ...

Gibraltar

is a place known all over the world. Gibraltar is located at the southern end of Europe, bordering Spain, but belongs to the territory of Great Britain. In good weather, you can see the Moroccan coast of Africa from the Upper Rock. The whole city has approx. 6 square km. The main attraction is the famous Upper Rock, which you can enter by car or on foot. A fragment of the rock has been made available to tourists. There you can see monkeys living in the wild - macaques, on sunny days observe the coast of Africa from above, visit St. Michael’s Cave, as well as an 18th-century tunnel carved into the rock.

- is a city in the south of Spain, in Andalusia, next to the Mediterranean Sea and the Bethany Mountains. Is one of the most famous bathing resorts in the Costa del Sol tourist region. Malaga is visited by up to 6 million tourists annually. Travelers usually go to the beaches, visit the old town, museums, churches and fortifications. It is worth going to the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, where the museum is now located.
