Obdurate
(Adjective) Unmoved by persuasion, pity,
or tender feelings; stubborn; unyielding.
“Francois was obdurate, but when he turned his back,
Buck again displaced Sol-leks, who was not at all
unwilling to go.”
Deluged
(Noun) A great flood; inundation
“For three days Perrault and Francois threw chests up
and down the main street of Skaguay and were deluged

adjective bewildered; puzzled: a perplexed state of mind.

adjective: producing or accompanied by spasms: convulsive rage.
