From the Governor... Where has September and October gone? What a nice
fall we have had! I hope everyone is doing well also.
We have had a busy couple of months. September was
the State Convention in St. Cloud and we had a lot of rep-
resentation from Proctor. Bob Witzman became our new-
est Fellow. Congratulations Bob! Proctor Moose members
donated a LOT of food to the St. Cloud food shelf and
there were several lodges from Minnesota that did the
same. Also, congratulations to John Ray on his elevation to the Moose Legion at
the All State Celebration held here at our lodge in October.
Our Moose lodge needs men to join our board of officers. PLEASE come help
your lodge continue to be a big part of Proctor, Minnesota.
Please read our calendar for upcoming events. Also please patronize our pasties
group, pizza volunteers and sausage group by getting any of the items they make
here for us.
Monday night is poker and is a huge hit; Tuesday night is tacos and the member-
ship drawing (be sure to get signed up before the drawing!); Wednesday night is
meeting night; Thursday night is burger night, meat raffles and cribbage; Friday
night has dinner and bingo. Come on into the lodge and support any of these great
things going on!
Remember, also, to book your holiday party at the lodge! Happy Holidays!
Fraternally, Jim McKinnon / Governor

Notes from the Recorder... We miss you! It’s been a long time since we’ve seen you at the lodge or at a Chapter meet-
ing. Your membership is very important to our chapter, the WOTM and the children at
Mooseheart and seniors at Moosehaven. There is always something going on at the Lodge.
Invite your friends and family to join us in making our community a better place in which to
live. Retention is the key to the chapter’s success. PLEASE remember how important your
membership is and pay your dues on time. There are many convenient ways to pay your
dues. Join us at our meetings (the 2nd or 4th Wednesday) of the month at 7:00 PM and you can renew your
dues that night or stop by the Lodge at your convenience. If you can’t make it into the lodge, you can pay your
dues on-line. Just go to mooseintl.org and pay with any debit or credit card. A successful Chapter needs the
help and support on ALL our members. Come and share your ideas with us at our Chapter meetings and en-
joy the fun and fellowship. If there is anything I can do to help just let me know.
Fraternally, Debra Gregorich, Recorder
Message from the Senior Regent…
Hello! I hope that this finds everyone in good health as the flu and cold season is here. I would like to thank
everyone who helped at the Halloween Party. The kids had a great time. I am looking forward to the holidays
and the kids Christmas party & the Tom and Jerry party for the adults. November is College of Regents
month. Therese McRae is the chairman and she will be doing a dinner on the 20th of November. The dinner
will be sloppy joes and chips. The cost is $5.00. December is Community Service month and Jami Shovein is
the chairman. She will be doing a dinner on the 18th of December. The dinner will be tacos.
We are looking for donations of candy for the breakfast with Santa Christmas Party. We are also looking for
some new and slightly used Christmas decorations for the Lodge. (for the tree and to put up on the walls) Call
the Lodge if you have anything you can donate.
Jessica Stevenson / Senior Regent
News From The Inner Group... Hello everyone!!
As you read this, the Inner Group has made nearly 900 pasties during the week of October 20th. We hope
everyone picked up what they ordered and we should have had about 200 extras!! Gobble them up before they
are gone!
Several of our Inner Group members are trying out a few ways of making small lasagna tins that would serve
2 people. Currently, we need to get our cost lower so that the price for you wouldn't break the bank. We might
be able to try a small sample batch around February, so look for signs after Christmas. If you have ideas for
another possible fundraising enterprise, please, tell us your thoughts.
As always, we meet every fourth Tuesday at 1pm at the Moose (no meeting in December).Enjoy thanksgiving
and all the December holidays.
Sincerely,
Teresa McKeever / Inner Group Chairperson

Members That Lost Loved Ones None Reported
Members That Passed Away Richard Bennett / Robert Bullyan / Harvey Erickson
Please let us know if you know of any members who are ill or have passed away
so we can pass it along to our membership.
From the Office... Do you know what date your dues expire? Did you know that now with eve-
rything on computer the next morning you are a member no longer in good standing?
At one time there was some grace period before you hit the naughty list, not any more.
The first of every month I get notification of who hasn't paid their dues. Once you pay
them it does take a few days for you to reappear on our rolls, so please try to pay them
before the end of the month. It's very easy to do on line or stop at the lodge and we'll
do it for you. Remember , the lodge will still buy you a beverage when you pay your
dues at the bar.
In October we were the hosts for the All State Moose Legion Celebration. We had a great time. We
also held our Volunteer Recognition Dinner. Anyone who had volunteered in any way at or for the lodge was
invited to enjoy a free roast beef dinner. ( Were you there?) We had some 50/50's and other raffles and the Lee
Johnson Volunteer of the Year was awarded.
We are going to try something different this year. On December 5th we will have breakfast with Santa
starting at 10:00am along with a make and take craft day. Therefore, we are looking for scoops from kool-aid,
iced tea and lemonade canisters. I'm sure there will also be a sheet posted with some of the other bits and
pieces listed the committee will be looking for.
Our annual Tom & Jerry party is scheduled for December 19th. Does anyone have Lloyd and Benjie's
recipe for T& J mix? Please can I see it? I would also like your input about New Years Eve. Would you like
to see the nice dinner and all you can drink for one price reinstated? Do you want to have something more cas-
ual? Shall we get some card games going for all you non-dancers? Please talk to me or one of the board mem-
bers so I can make some final plans.
If someone would like to work on any event I would love the help. I would be happy to see that things
are ordered and delivered or anything I can do to make it a success. It would be nice to some new and some
old familiar faces in the kitchen and in the lodge.
This article is a little shorter than the last but I've kinda been burning the candle at both ends the last
few weeks. So much to do, so little time. Happy Holidays!
Kaye Anderson / Administrative Assistant
A big thank you goes out to Wayne Kratt and Jim Breemeersch for helping to take down
the old flag, to Jerry and Carole Weeks for getting us the new flag. Doesn't it look good!
Thank You to Jim (Chicken) Myers for designing and building a couple of bar top trays.
They work great. Thank You to Jim, Brenda, Brett, Bob, Arlene, John, Teresa, Jessica,
Ellie and Pat for helping with the highway clean-up.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
