Illya Haro is an Art Advisor and Curator, International Project Manager & Design Strategist. With more than 15 years of professional experience she directed and produced cultural projects in Italy, Mexico, Spain, Middle East and the United States. As part of her research, she developed projects that attempt to generate a series of conversations between agents and disciplines. She is interested in exploring the creative and cultural industry and its impact on social practices, urban+contemporary culture and their relation in cities. We are honored to have her joined us in the bus ride, enlightening us with her knowledge along the way.

Jorge Gracia is an Architect based in Tijuana, Founder and principal of GRACIASTUDIO; Recipient of multiple awards and recognition within the practice of architecture, including “Design Vanguard” from Architectural Record, Emerging Voices from the Architectural League of New York and “Best of the best” from Red Dot Awards in Germany.Founder of “Escuela Libre de Arquitectura” a School of Architecture based on Tijuana’s red light District. Jorge is the Architect for both the Culinary Art School and Encuentro Guadalupe, two out of the four site visits on this trip.
