Presentation Application and Submission Rules1.Allconcurrentsessions,workshops,scientificabstracts

andposterapplicationmaterialsmustbesubmittedthroughtheonlinesubmissionsite.Fax,mail,e-mailorhandwrittensubmissionswillNOTbeacceptedforreview.

2.Withoutexception,submissionsmustbereceivedthroughtheWebsitebytheendofday(EST)bythedead-linesabove.LatesubmissionswillNOTbeconsidered.

3.Ifyouaresubmittingasapresenterinanycategory,youMUSTdothefollowing:

1)IncludeatleasttwolearningobjectivesthatlinkbacktotheECCU2012ConferenceOverallLearningObjectives,2)UploadtheAHAConflictofInterestDis-closureform;and3)UploadacurrentcurriculumvitaeAnysubmissionwithoutanyoftheabovethreeitemswillnotbeconsidered.

Selection Process and CriteriaTheECCUProgramCommitteewillreviewapplicationsforPreconferenceWorkshops,ConcurrentSessions,andLight-ningRoundBestPractices.Thequalityofthepresentationcontentisthemostimportantfactorintheselectionprocess.Qualitywillbedeterminedbasedonrelevance,significance,originalityandinnovation.Theappealoftheproposedmethodofpresentation,giventhepresentationcontent,willalsoinfluenceselection.Weencourageentertainingandinforma-tivepresentationsthatengagetheaudienceandmakeuseofgraphics,interactions,anddialogue.Whenprompted,pleaseincludereferencesregardingotherpresentationsorwork-shopsyou’vecompletedinthepasttogiveusasenseofyourspeakingexperienceandabilities.Thesewillbeselectedbyareviewed,blindedprocessbasedonthefollowingcriteria:qualityasdefinedabove,methodofpresentationandoverallparticipantappeal.

Concurrent Sessions, Scientific Abstracts and Posterswillgothroughapeer-reviewed,blindedprocess,withrepresen-tativeexpertsinthefield.TheECCU2012ProgramCommittee

Applicants will be notified via e-mail 10 to 12 weeks fol-lowing the deadline for submission regarding whether or not their submission was accepted for presentation.
