Hafa Adai from Guam and the Marianas Islands, AFCEA Marianas Chapter is pleased to announce our 4th annual conference and expo, Tech Net 2012: New Focus on the Western Pacific - Convergence of Strategy and Technology for 21st Century. Since our re-emergence as an active Chapter in 2009, we have hosted 3 Tech Net Conferences which have improved and grown steadily each year. We are working hard to make Tech Net 2012 the best yet. Tech Net 2012 will focus on the growing recognition of the importance of the Western Pacific to our National Defense and economic future. As the Western most piece of United States soil, Guam and the Marianas represent a cross-roads between the East and West and the “tip-of-the-spear” in any scenario related to Asia and the Western Pacific. Whereas one main goal of hosting Tech Net conferences is to provide a venue for networking among military, civilian government, academia and industry leaders, we are also dedicated to support the fur-therance of education in the areas of Science, Technology, Education and Mathematics (STEM) and provide support to our local community. Since 2009, we have awarded 26 STEM grants, student scholar-ships and grants to local cultural and historical organizations totaling over $25,000, mostly from funds generated by Tech Net conferences. As we work to finalize the venue, list of speakers and panels and recreational events, we would like to extend an invitation for you to join the growing list of world-class technology firms ranging from For-tune 500 giants to highly valued local small businesses whose contributions have made previous Tech Nets so successful. Next to the diner and awards presentation at the Guam Government house, which is sponsored by AFCEA Marianas as a thank you to all sponsors and attendees, the closing banquet is the premier conference event. Golf Tournament Sponsorship: Donation: $5,000 Available: One The last two Tech Net golf tournaments have been great successes, For those unfamiliar with Guam, it is an island about 30 miles long and 8 miles at the widest point with 7 world class courses designed by such golf greats as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Sam Sneed, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Billy Casper, Doug Ford, Gene Sarazen, Bob Toski, Orville Moody, and Gene Little. The tournaments have fields of 50 or more players and we expect a great turnout this year as well. Exhibitor Opportunities As an AFCEA Tech Net 2012 exhibitor, your products and services will be showcased to the 300 plus military, civilian government and private conference attendees. Prime exhibitor space is reserved for patron and included on other sponsor packages. However, a limited number of exhibitor booths and tables will be available for those sponsors whose package do not include a booth or table or for exhibitors who do not want to purchase a full sponsorship. Exhibitor packages will include a limited number of “general admission" tickets providing access for representatives to staff the exhibits. General admission tickets grant admission to the exhibit hall and main conference hall, but not to any evening social events. Exhibitor Booth: Donation: $1,500 Available: 25

Education and Non-Profit Table: No cost One of the primary goals of AFCEA Marianas Chapter is support for our local community and advancing education. Each year, AFCEA Marianas offers a Tech Net exhibitor table, at no cost, to our local university and college as a public service. Funds derived from patron, sponsorships and exhibitor fees help support this goal as well as funding the many STEM grants and scholarships we award each year.
