CBS Presentation

May 13, 2010

I. Accepting my weakness or dependence on the Lord in all things John 5:19, Jesus said, “I can of mine own self do

nothing.”

John 15:5b, Jesus said, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.”

Psalm 127:1, “Unless God builds the house, the builder labors in vain.”

Distrust myself – the Devil loves me playing ‘god’

II Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in your weakness.”

II. Keep life and business simple

The good is the tyranny of the great

Passion – doing God’s calling of the great, not the good

Wait 24 hours minimum

Possible 11th commandment – Thou shall not ‘should’ on oneself

III. Become neutral on all decisions

Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways and He will make your paths straight.”

Matthew 26:39, “My Father, if it’s possible, let this cup pass from Me, yet not as I will, but as You will.”

IV. Challenges First secret weapon – be weak or dependent on the

Lord in all things Choose a situation, opportunity or problem that you

can become weak so His strength will be made perfect in your weakness

Second secret weapon – seek simplicity Upon the next request you receive, wait 24 hours

minimum to decide

Third secret weapon – become neutral on all decisions On your next significant decision, seek God’s will over

your desire

V. Conclusion

If you choose these unconventional business approaches, you will have less regrets and achieve more success.
