Pursuant to Section 1399.483(d) of the Acupuncture Regulations, CE courses designed to be completed on an independent or home study basis (distance education) shall not

exceed 50% of the required CE hours. Pursuant to Section 1399.489(a), no more than five (5) hours of CE in each two-year period may be obtained in Category 2.
