VOLUNTEERS NEEDED in all six [6] parishes to hand out the Christmas gift book after each Christmas Mass. Scheduled Greeters and Ushers are asked to help along with other volunteers, including youth, at each entrance/exit of each church. Please contact the parish office to volunteer. THANK YOU AND REMINDER LET-TERS for the 2018 DAA went in the mail last week from the parish office. If you have not returned your 2019 DAA pledge card, please do so soon so we can hit our parish and diocesan goals. Thank you to all who have given, especially at Breda, Mount Carmel, and Arcadia where we have hit our parish goal; but where we would like to hit the diocesan goal. CATHOLIC CHARITIES annual collec-tion will be taken immediately after Holy Communion at each Christmas Mass in each parish to help support the work of Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Sioux City. Please use the Catholic Charities col-lection envelope in your envelope pack-et. Cash is also welcome. DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS for 2018 will only be accepted up until 31 December 2018 if the check is dated 2018 AND the donation is received in the parish office (or postmarked if mailed) by Decem-ber 31 in order to be deductible in 2018. If postmarked or received after 31 December 2018 the donation will be deductible in 2019. To comply with federal law, we can-not accept donations in 2019 for 2018. ST. ELIZABETH SETON-GLIDDEN

GLIDDEN COMMUNITY QUILTING will be at Peace Lutheran Church Tuesday January 8 until Easter week 2019, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. with potluck at noon. Bring one covered dish. All quilts are distributed to charitable organizations. If you have ques-tions call Chris Beatie at 712-790-7544. CONTRIBUTION ENVELOPES for 2019 will be mailed every other month to all registered families and students of the parish. The first mailing will arrive soon with envelopes for January and Febru-ary. This will be a cost savings to the par-ish verses the boxed sets. Please use your envelopes every week. Thank you. THE ANNUAL SOUP SUPPER will be held Saturday, January 12th after the 5:30 p.m. Mass at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Bring your favorite soup to share or just come for the Fellowship and good food!
