Our Bible Study will be restarting September 16 at 7:00 pm. We will social distance in the fellowship hall - if the weather is fit, we will meet outside. We will be starting on the book of Exodus (see more info inside this newsletter). Exodus is the story of God using Moses to lead His people out of Egypt and into the promised land. The Hebrews have been “quarantined,” isolated, in Egypt for four hundred years in order to grow in number and faith. I wonder if the events of today might also serve to help us reevaluate our faith - and grow in closeness to God. Jesus said he went and prepared a place for us - perhaps we can use this time for us to prepare ourselves for Him. Pastor Ken

Mark your calendar. Our Bible Study will be restarting September 16 at 7:00 pm. We will social distance in the fellowship hall - if the weather is fit, we will meet outside. Exodus contains the exciting story of the Hebrews leaving Egypt and passing through the promised land. We will be using the book, “The Rational Bible: Exodus” by Dennis Prager. "Dennis Prager has put together one of the most stun-ning commentaries in modern times on the most pro-found document in human history. It's a must-read that every person, religious and non-religious, should buy and peruse every night before bed. It'll make you think harder, pray more ardently, and understand your civili-zation better." Ben Shapiro, host of "The Ben Shapiro Show"

"Dennis Prager’s commentary on Exodus will rank among the greatest modern Torah commentaries. That is how important I think it is. And I am clearly not alone... It might well be on its way to becoming the most widely read Torah commentary of our time by non-Jews as well as by Jews." Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, bestselling author of Jewish Literacy
