Across the globe, reports abound that the Lord is currently releasing a ‘Saints Movement’, as some are calling it - an ‘army of ordinary people’ who are capable of ministering into the lives of one another as well as to those they are in daily contact with.

Indeed, nothing is more impacting than a timely, accurate and sensitively spoken word from God to cause anyone to know that the Lord is real and loves us personally. Such prophetic words confirm God’s direction for our lives; greatly up-build and encourage and even provide wise counsel that saves us from making wrong decisions. Yet many testimonies abound of this kind of activity going horribly wrong, when inaccurate, over zealous and harmful ‘words’ are spoken to someone, often with disappointing - sometimes devastating consequences. Many leaders have understandably decided to significantly limit such expressions in their meetings to avoid such damage being done.

However, much can be gained from such spiritual gifts when they are from God and delivered in a loving manner. Accordingly, this course aims to present a balanced view of the subject of how to accurately hear from God on behalf of ourselves and others. Further, it endeavours to explore how we can best serve and help people to engage in such ministry that really does avoid the negatives so that each word spoken brings encouragement, true insight, godly wisdom and comfort.

Founded upon the profound fact of Scripture - that ‘… we can all prophesy’ (1 Corinthians 14:31), this 4-session course explores such topics as, ‘Awakening the people of God to fulfil their call to be a multi-functional body’; ‘A Biblical perspective regarding the ministry of prophecy’; ‘How to hear from God’; ‘How does God speak to us?’; ‘What constitutes a prophetic people?; How to effectively minister prophetically to people’; ‘How we can avoid the dangers and excesses’ etc.
