    There is no internationally adopted bestcommon method for allocation oftransmission costs.. All methods havetheir pros & cons

    Worldwide a combination of methods is

    used for allocation such as postage stamp,marginal/nodal pricing, marginalparticipation, average participation, MW-Mile, peak based, game theory etc

    Requires not only technical expertise butalso Econimics concepts such as marginalprice, social welfare, etc

    While we are rightly concerned withcongestion. What if there is overcapacity/stranded assets in a corridor?What if the constructed lines remain lightlyloaded for most part of the year due toerror in planning or change in load
