Principal’s Report:

This is our last newsletter for the school year, as you receive this there

will be only 2 days left for us. We also say good bye to the Year 6

students as they finish one big stage of their schooling life and prepare

for the next stage at secondary school.

We know they will leave with the skills to see them succeed at

secondary school, academically, socially and in all other parts of life.

We wish them well and to those families whose time at Cairnlea Park

is ending on Tuesday, we thank you for your support during your time

here.

At the end of every school year, some teachers also move on and we

thank and give our best wishes to Mrs Reardon, Mrs DeLacy and Ms

McLay who are leaving us. Mrs Smith will also be leaving us for 12

months to work in England. In 2017 we will see the return of Ms

Zeneli after leaving us last year. We will also be welcoming three new

staff members Ms Craven, Ms Mountain, and Ms Weir.

Christmas Concerts

This week we held our annual Christmas Concerts in the gym. Once

again we had fantastic parental support over the 3 nights as the

classes put on a wonderful show for our families. I thank the teachers

and children for their efforts and the parents and families for being

wonderful audiences on each of the nights.

Year 6 Graduation

Our Year 6 Graduation was held last night at Quin Auditorium at

Caroline Chisholm College. The Year 6 students looked wonderful in

their outfits and thoroughly enjoyed the night. The award winners are

listed over the page:

2017 Prep Enrolments

Prep enrolments for next year are now being taken for

children who live in the Cairnlea estate and siblings of

students currently attending Cairnlea Park Primary.

Due to our enrolment restrictions we are unable able to

accept any more prep enrolments from families who live

outside the Cairnlea estate.

Parents are required to supply the following information

when enrolling:

Proof of residence in Cairnlea

Proof of age (birth certificate or passport)

Immunisation certificate

Cyber safety tip!

Protect your digital

footprint: don’t put

anything online that you

wouldn’t want all your

friends, family, teachers

and future employers to

see.

Is Your Child Leaving At The End Of 2016?

If your child is not returning to our school

in 2017, please notify the office.

It assists us greatly in the planning for

next year.

December Reports

December reports were sent home today along with your child’s grade placement for 2017. Reports not

collected by Monday will be mailed home.

Oval Upgrade

Beginning next week Normark Landscaping will be coming in to top dress and sow the oval. This will

give the oval almost 6 weeks to grow the new grass before the new school year. Hopefully this will mean

no disruption to the playing area at the beginning of next year.

The funds raised from Family Fun Day are going towards funding this upgrade.

In closing for this year, best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

2017 BOOKLIST

ONLINE ORDERING INFORMATION

This year Cairnlea Park Primary School will be offering the online ordering system for payment of the

2017 student book packs and essential educational items, with our stationery supplier Officemax.

Ordering can ONLY be made through the Officemax website. The online ordering system is much easier for parents with your child/ren’s book pack delivered by Australia Post to your home or nominated address. PO Box addresses are not accepted by Australia Post. If you are not home, notification will be left by Australia Post to pick up your parcel from the post office. Also there will be no processing fee charged.

Orders placed: On or before 4 December 2016 will be delivered free of charge before the end of December 2016, After 4 December, and on or before 18 December 2016 will incur a delivery fee of $9.95 and be

delivered before 25 January 2017 After December 18, and on or before 31 December 2016, will incur a delivery fee of $19.90 and be

delivered before 25 January 2017 After 31 December will incur a delivery fee of $19.90 with all efforts to deliver prior to the beginning of

Term 1, 2017 Your child must bring ALL OF THEIR book pack items with them on the first day of school.

ONLINE ORDERING PROCEDURE

Go to the Officemax school website:

Click on ‘GO’ tab.

Type in your child’s name.

Select your child’s 2017 year level that you want to order.

Please note, if you have more than one child, you will need to do a separate order for

EACH child, otherwise all the book pack items will be in the one box.

Type in your credit card details and address.

Select check out.

Once completed, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address.

Book pack/s will be delivered to the home or nominated address.

THÔNG TIN ĐẶT MUA DỤNG CỤ HỌC SINH TRÊN MẠNG NĂM 2017

Năm nay, nhà trường sẽ áp dụng việc đặt mua tập vỡ và dụng cụ cần thiết của học sinh trực tuyến

trên mạng với nhà cung cấp văn phòng phẩm Officemax.

Đáng tiếc, vì sự thay đổi ngân quỹ của Bộ Giáo Dục, nhà trường không thể trả tiền gói dụng cụ

học cho những phụ huynh có thẻ Triết giảm Y tế Health care và Pension như năm 2016.

Do vậy, TẤT CẢ PHỤ HUYNH cần phải đặt mua trên mạng gói tập vỡ và dụng cụ học cần thiết

năm 2017 cho con em. Tuy nhiên, chúng tôi vẫn giữ giá thấp $150 bao gồm gói dụng cụ của học

sinh, dụng cụ trong lớp, phầm mềm điện toán và chương trình học hỏi thêm được đem vào trường.
