The postgraduate courses provided by the ESSS Institute for Education, Research and Development
(iESSS) are driven to bring professionals from various engineering disciplines up to speed on how to perform
simulations of different applications using commercial software.
The experience obtained over more than 15 years providing CAE training courses, Jump-Start and In-house
Trainings, has allowed ESSS to offer professionals specialized courses in order to a more in-depth

• Reduce aerodynamic drag while maintaining
vehicle’s styling elements
ANSYS Solution: Use ANSYS CFD with RBF Morph to parameterize
vehicle shape. Setup a Design-Of-Experiments
study with ANSYS DesignXplorer. Automatically
run simulations for numerous design variants
using ANSYS HPC (High Performance Computing).
Identify the one variant that has least drag force.
Use values of parameters from that variant in final
vehicle design.
