VOLUNTARY PRODUCT RECALL NOTICE ELIOS, the manufacturer of the CIL/ORION SOLAS HAND HELD RED FLARE, has issued a quarantine notice on the following 3 lots of the product, CDN0330, CDN0331 & CDN0404. Orion is therefore initiating a voluntary recall of these lots. These products are also marked with a manufacture date of: FEB 2017, MAR 2017, APR 2017. The product as described below is sold through marine dealers, distributors and retailers across the country. Products would have been purchased AFTER FEB. 1, 2017. Product purchased prior to this date are not affected by this voluntary recall. THE PRODUCT IS SOLD UNDER 3 ITEM NUMBERS: • Item #802 individually packed in retail packaging • Item #807 in bulk with no retail packaging • Item #821 packed as components in a Commercial Vessel Kit for boats traveling 50+ Miles from shore. Each kit contains 6 bulk flares.
