HARSH ENVIRONMENT CABLES AND ASSEMBLIESWith more than 30 years experience in the military and aerospace industries, Koehlke can design cables to meet or exceed whatever requirements you envision. Koehlke uses overmolded materials, wire braids and custom-designed stiffeners and binders to supply cables capable of withstanding harsh environments for use

in today’s demanding markets, whether high/low or swinging temperature, sand, high abrasion, water immersion, high pull strength or chemical environments.

REDESIGNING, RUGGEDIZING AND RETROFITTINGIf your existing cable design falls short of meeting environmental or daily handling requirements, Koehlke can help. Our engineers use their knowledge of harsh environment and rugged cable designs to review your existing cable, its environment and handling to identify the cause of the operations failures. Then we redesign your product to withstand current and potential future applications. If your product is in the field, Koehlke will enhance the current assemblies by replacing low-strength components or breakouts with molded and bonded overmolded materials to add cable strength, and enhance materials to rejuvenate cables for continued years of use.
