     Jules applies to the e!ual role of a woman because she is most se!ualised.

    #lthou$h e%eryone is se!ually acti%e within the &lm' she is the one that is

    seen ha%in$ intercourse with Curt in the Woods.

    (in applies to the Domestic role because she is the assistant that is seen

    helpin$ out the other men' howe%er she is still bossed around to an e!tent.

    Dana and Jules are $ood e!amples of the Consumer role because they are

    typical teena$e $irls. When we &rst see Jules and Dana' we are told that Jules

    dyed her hair' a representation of consumin$.

    Dana is the most marital out of the female characters in Cabin )n The Woods

    because she is the less se!ualised and althou$h not married' she has an

    attachment and sense of loyalty to one person.

    what are they and how do they cause her to become a horror archetype?

    /hysically' Jules under$oes the transformation of hair colour to become a

    blonde. londes in horrors are typically 2nown for bein$ the &rst to die' which

    then $oes on to happen. he becomes more se!ually acti%e once at the Cabin

    which puts her at more ris2 of becomin$ a %ictim in a horror as most

    characters die as a result.

    "ul%ey’s "ale a5e Theory is when the camera acts as the eyes of a

    heterose!ual male to %iew females as se!ual ob8ects. Curt eyes his $irlfriend

    at one point' where the camera follows him as a /67 shot. When we &rst see

    Dana' she is in her underwear and the camera ma2es sure to point this out by

    focusin$ on her lower body.
