4. CANNELLE D'AS - Not devoid of ability but is too delicate to trust. Others are preferred

5. CHAPELLA PHEDO - Tends to go well when not disqualified. Left a good impression in an amateur race at Vincennes in last start

6. DELFINEA BELLA - Has won four races in 2019 including three on turf. Disappointed in last two and must reaffirm

7. DWENDOLINA BILOU - Group II-placed in the other code back in 2017. Has run only twice since returning from an extended break. Best to watch

8. BRUME DE LUNES - Generally effective in the amateur division but also has the ability to feature in a race like this. Place chance

9. DYNASTIE D'ENFER - Blows hot and cold but very capable on a good day. Goes barefoot again and a place chance

10. COOL STAR - Has been in fine fettle since October. Is confirmed in this division and expected to be at the premises

11. CALVIA - Has done nothing of note since July and although trainer is said to be confident,is probably best to watch

12. COMETE DES VAUX - Good class of a mare but is off since last May and is unlikely to be ready

13. BELLE EMOTION - Has not won for a long time but was on a good sequence before flopping at Vincennes. Cannot be ruled out

14. BOHEME DU JUILLE - Has made the frame in two of her last three starts. Was not disgraced at Vincennes on 2 December and can get a look in

15. DEVISE DU VIVIER - Seven time winner from sixty one. Has a lot of ability and on good behavior can win this

16. COCOTTE JOLIE - A complete write-off in 2019 and is not easy to back on that basis. Look elsewhere

Summary

(15) DEVISE DU VIVIER is by far the best on class alone in this bunch and although she is very delicate, she seems worth to take a chance. In case the selection fails to deliver, (5) CHAPELLA PHEDO could be the best alternative for success. (2) DONZELLA BELLA is another case of a temperamental but talented filly and is hard to rule out of the equation.

6. GRAAL - One win and two places from four runs. Finished third in a competitive race at Graignes in latest

7. GODEAGLE DU GUILDO - Won first time out in March at Le Croise-Laroche but has failed to improve since

8. GASPAROFF - Yet to win a race after twelve starts but seems on the upgrade and cannot be totally ruled out

9. GAELIC DE LA GIRO - Two places and one success from three starts. Returns from an eighty five days absence

10. GOODWOOD - Has featured in competitive events during the year without winning. Has solid claims on form

11. GORDON D'OCCAGNES - Generally consistent in this division and should be able to pick up some money

12. GOOD ROCK - Yet to win after thirteen starts but has been knocking at the door and should be right up there at the finish

13. GANADOR DEL AMOR - Went off the mark last March and posted a good effort on return from the summer break at Le Croise-Laroche last month

14. GIPSY THORIS - Long time maiden but showed a nice rebound of form in last start and cannot be excluded of the equation

Summary

(10) GOODWOOD was well-fancied at Vincennes in his last start but could not escape the sanction. He will be back with better intentions today and is a tentative choice to record a first career victory. (9) GAELIC DE LA GIRO showed plenty of promise last summer and has to be hugely considered despite returning from a break. Watch for both (14) GIPSY THORIS and (6) GRAAL.

6. GINO DE L'INAM - Just the one place from seven runs and will do well to make the frame here

7. GOLD ELEVEN - Improved behavior in last start in this code after a string of sanctions. Can pop-up

8. GERFAUT D'HAMELINE - Was not disgraced on debut in this code at Chateaubriant recently but needs to show vast improvement so win

9. GAZON DE BANNES - Posted an unexpected runner-up effort behind (13) GREAT GANGSTER after eight consecutive disqualifications. Remains hard to trust

10. GRAAL DU TRESOR - Showed vast improvement when runner-up at Vincennes in last start. Still unexposed and has solid claims

11. GANGSTER D'URFIST - A winner under harness but has not shown much enthusiasm for the riding game and has a few lengths to find

12. GALION DU BOURG - Won in this code in July. Good last two runs and should be at the premises

13. GREAT GANGSTER - Went off the mark over course & distance on ninth attempt nine days ago. Can follow up

14. GAZ MAX - Broke maiden tag over course & distance two starts back. Good last run at Vincennes and will find this easier

15. GEVREY D'AUTHISE - Course & distance winner in July. Off since 3 August and is likely to need the run

16. GENEREUX ELEVEN - One win from nine under harness and was disqualified in sole start under the saddle recently

Summary

(13) GREAT GANGSTER trounced his rivals over this course and distance in his last start and clocked a good chrono that day. Reunited with Yoann Lebourgeois he can to follow up. The lightly-raced (10) GRAAL DU TRESOR posted a solid runner-up effort at Vincennes on his debut in this code and should be a lot smarter today. (5) GOAL DE LA MORTRIE, (12) GALION DU BOURG and (14) GAZ MAX are best of the remainders.

5. GAIA DEL SOL - Has hinted at ability early in the year but has gone off the boil in recent months and is hard to trust

6. GAGNANTE ELDE - Two places from ten starts and recent efforts do not inspire confidence. Look elsewhere

7. GUAPA LUNA - Has been placed on a couple of occasions. Set a personal best at Nancy last time out

8. GERONIMA - One win and two disqualifications from three runs. Could be anything

9. GOLDIKOVA LILA - Broke maiden tag at Vire on second attempt last month. Best to forget last run under the saddle

10. GOULETTE STEED - Has made the frame just once in nineteen starts and that was over a left-handed course

(18) FLAMION CARISAIE could not find a better entry at twenty euros from the threshold and gets the vote after a solid last effort in a better race at Vincennes. 4. FADETTE DE CYM - Fine trotter and particularly effective when barefoot. Best to forget last run and is expected to bounce back

5. FIDJI D'ERPION - Delicate filly but is confirmed under these conditions and can be in the mix

6. FADETTE D'AURCY - One win from seventeen. Has become more effective in the other code at present and a place chance at best

7. FLORA DES TERRES - Has shown significant progress since racing without shoes and should be included in calculations

8. FATALE LEBEL - Has made the frame just once in ten starts and is easily passed over

9. FANTINA DE GUEUDE - Best effort from thirteen runs is a fourth place on turf last August. Ignore

10. FLEUR DU NIL - Has never won a race from fifteen starts and is unlikely to go off the mark this time either

11. FERIA DANOVER - Unplaced in both starts to date and looks hard to make a case for. Others preferred

(1) FLACA is generally very effective over the short distances and has an ideal draw inside of the front tier. Although she has flopped in her three previous starts at Cabourg, she must be given some serious consideration. (4) FADETTE DE CYM has the best possible draw behind the car-start and should give it a good go with the help of top-driver Yoann Lebourgeois.

Summary

(11) EVA MADRIK posted an eye-catching performance over this course and distance in her last start and in similar form will have serious claims once again. (13) EMBA DU VIVIER was disappointing last time out. She is much better than that and can win a race of this nature if at the top of her game. (12) EBENE PIYA and (9) EGERIE IMPERIALE cannot be excluded of the equation.

4. ELISA D'AMOUR - Modest type that was not disgraced on recent return but still has her work cut out

5. ESPRESSO DODVILLE - Fine servant with excellent ridden credentials but has just one race in him and best to wait

6. ELUE DE FLEUR - Just one win in 33 but not devoid of ability. Encouraged in a Chartres Class E a fortnight ago and will have her supporters

7. ELODIA JOSSELYN - Excellent in both codes earlier in the year but has since come off the boil and will have few friends

8. EXTREME BARTH - Has done nothing but improve under the saddle since the autumn. Imposed at Nantes last time and must be respected

9. EOS GES - Can prove a handful but boasts a good record in the specialty. Makes first ridden start of the season and from the front line will be no pushover

10. ELIOS NOE - Has looked rather ordinary since imposing at Caen early September and needs to raise his game

11. ETOILE DU GAULTIER - Delicate mare but trotted third to (17) EPSON DU VIVIER a month back and with application can get a look in

12. EMIR DU TRESOR - Respectable on a good day and has a good entry in front but not presently at his sharpest and chances limited

13. ECUSSON D'ALBRET - Has found his form again following a brief lean patch. Incurs the penalty this time though and others preferred

14. EGERIE - Quality element at this level. Made an impressive comeback at Cabourg and with shoes off again can go far

15. EXCALIBUR DE MOON - Has done nothing noteworthy in either code since May 2017. Disregard

16. EMILIANO BELLO - Occasionally indisciplined but can trot and presently in form. Second to (18) ECUREUIL PHIL on penultimate start and on good behaviour can again finish in the mix

17. EPSON DU VIVIER - Sanctioned more often than not but has bags of ability. Showed his form in Paris recently and with application can make a big splash

18. ECUREUIL PHIL - Decent sort that goes well clockwise. Impressive at Caen last month and has a decent chance of doubling his money

Summary

Considerably better when racing right-handed, which he showed at Caen early last month, (18) ECUREUIL PHIL gives away 25m this time but still looks the one to beat. (17) EPSON DU VIVIER is as complicated as they come but is hard to knock when applied and on good behaviour can give him a run for his money. (14) EGERIE rarely lets the side down when focused and will have a lot to offer if focused. In form and runner-up to the selection at Caen (16) EMILIANO BELLO should logically give another competitive account. (9) EOS GES will be at peak fitness by now and is capable of setting the cat among the pigeons.

3. GANAKA - Imposed first time out this year but a complete write off since and will generate very little interest

4. GRANDISSIMA BLUE - Debuted decently here before beating (16) GUAPO at Angers next time and has every chance of confirming

5. GIPSY SOUVERAIN - Placed just once in first five but in the frame in last two. In marginally better company here but can still get a look in

6. GAVROCHE DU GADE - Occasionally indisciplined but can trot. Caught the eye at Angers last time and in similar form can get in on the action

7. GLOIRE ROYALE - In the frame in all four starts to date but unraced since June and will need the run

8. GENERAL DE LOIRON - Yet to get off the mark but has ability and is proven here. Solid on recent comeback and looks competitively well in

9. GRAAL DU VIVIER - Reliability not his strong suit but won going clockwise last month. M.Abrivard at the helm here and can make up for recent Nantes clinker

10. GERDA DU BIRKWALD - Not the worst horse here but sanctioned more often than not and others easier to back

11. GIVE ME DREAM - Showed promise during the summer but has failed to make the grade in last six and can be ruled out

12. GO FAST QUICK - Useful sort when applied. Found wanting on comeback and expected to need another race

13. GLOIRE DE JANEIRO - 15 races and yet to get off the mark. Arguably better on turf and chances limited

14. GITANO DE LUISLO - Unremarkable trotter that has not made the frame since the summer. Encouraged at Nantes but others still preferred

15. GALET STED - Useful type that has demonstrated decent aptitude and can play a small role if he stays in stride

16. GUAPO - Decent colt with a good future. Won here before missing out by little to (4) GRANDISSIMA BLUE at Angers and can turn the tables

Summary

Facile winner over course and distance last month (16) GUAPO lost out to the progressive (4) GRANDISSIMA BLUE at Angers next time but is not incapable of exacting revenge. Winner at La Capelle late October (2) GRACEFUL then finished third to these two next time and is expected to confirm. Disqualified when third here earlier in the year (8) GENERAL DE LOIRON has since shown decent aptitude and the nature of his recent Laval re-entry augurs well for his chances. (6) GAVROCHE DU GADE is never far from losing his action but reassured at Angers earlier in the month and will garner support.

5. DREAM DU CHOQUEL - In cracking form since the summer. Unlikely to pull off the hat trick but can still get in on the action

6. DREAM BLUE - Hardy sort that scored at Lisieux before trotting second to (2) CHALLENGE ACCEPTED at Argentan and can again make the first three

7. BLUFF - Delicate but can trot. Left regrets at Graignes last time but still no more than a minor place prospect

8. BON PARCOURS - Yet to show any flair for the ridden game and latest form shocking at best

9. BAROUDEUR D'ANJOU - Has done nothing noteworthy in the code for 15 months and can expect to have few friends

10. CABALLIS - Sanctioned on lone appearance in the discipline. Here for a change of scenery and not a priority

11. CHRISTOPHER JONES - Previously a good sort but totally out of the picture this term. Briand does not travel his horses without good reason though. One to watch

12. DARLING D'HERMINE - Quality mare that seldom disappoints when applied. Gave a fine account on comeback and looks eminently capable of opening her winter account

13. DEDICACE DE CHENU - Useful mare with form at this level. Should be at peak fitness by now and with stride in check can challenge for a spot on the podium

14. CADOL DE LA NOEMIE - Blows hot and cold but has produced two solid efforts lately. Unshod on this occasion and will not be far off the mark

15. BEL CANTO - Has merit but not the most reliable. Well beaten in last two under the saddle and will have few takers

16. CALLISTO MARJACK - Erratic mare that encouraged in Paris late last month but failed to confirm at Nantes. Shoes on again and no threat

17. BRAVE DES TYLL - Disappointing on the whole this year and latest results do nothing to inspire confidence

4. EASY MESLOISE - Mixes the good with the less good but goes well for Corentin Delbecq and latest effort bodes well for her chances

5. ESCALE DE MALLOUET - On a superb run of form since late September. Good third in a Cabourg Class D last time and is well placed to give this a good go

6. EASY DE BELLANDE - Winner of three on the trot since returning to racing barefoot. Should appreciate the Meslay profile and can add another success to her tally

7. ETOILE VICTORY - Mixes the good with the less good but won a Vincennes claimer in good order last time out. Breaks in front here and can apply the pressure on (6) EASY DE BELLANDE

8. ELECTRA BLEUE - In flying form lately with three wins in last four. Untried here but in current form is hard to ignore

Like a horse reborn over recent months (6) EASY DE BELLANDE makes her Meslay debut on a four-timer and with Matthieu Abrivard at the helm can pull it off. On her way back up after securing a Vincennes claimer earlier in the month (7) ETOILE VICTORY once again looks to have a lot to offer. (8) ELECTRA BLEUE has been enjoying something of a renaissance since the summer and even though drawn wide she is barefoot for the occasion and will have her chances. A tough nut to crack when focused (14) FUN LADY BLACK made a fine comeback earlier this month. She will have come on for the run and even though starting on the second line she still looks the horse to beat. The complicated but talented (6) FRESKA DE VANDEL has yet to get off the mark but she left a very good impression at Mauquenchy last month and with application will have a lot to offer. (11) FEE BIANCA is back at the top of her game and will be no pushover if she can stay in stride. (1) FANNY DE GUINETTE gets the inside line here and will not be far from the action if she reproduces her Laval performance. (4) FOLIE DE BOUERE gave a reassuringly good account at Argentan last time and if behaved can make the most of her top-tier draw.

(1) BOSIOH looks an absolute stand out bet for punters here in this two year old nursery. The deserved top weight is already an ultra consistent type and has never been out of the frame. He must be supported to beat the likes of (2) MARSELHA PRINCE and (6) CQUILEPATRON while (7) LA FRIPOUILLE has frame claims also.

4. MAOZU SHIINA - Two wins from fifteen starts. Ninth in a claimer last time and looks a big outsider

5. TARASIF - One success from nine outings and has been in a very good vein of form

6. RONDINE - One win from nine runs. Not so hot last time out and a bit to prove right now

7. PRINCE DECALAS - One success from eleven runs. Must better latest start to hold out any hope

Summary

(1) GROUP DEUX CREUX had looked very progressive earlier on in the campaign and seemed destined for better things but obviously had some sort of a setback. He is back today and if fully fit can get the the better of main danger, (2) GIMME JOY. That one looks a clear second best. (3) HAVANA and (5) TARASIF can come next.
