POAH in Chicago

• POAH owns and manages 2,000 mixed-income apartments in Chicago market

• Active in a dozen neighborhoods and communities –north, south and west.

• Chicago work began in 2009 in Woodlawn, where we led a mixed-use, mixed-income, preservation-driven renewal

A residential community

• Sustainable, equitable, community-driven and serving• Phase 1 will have 40-50 rental apartments and 5,500 sf of retail• Phase II will be 30-35 owner-occupied units and 3,500 sf of retail• Mixed income and affordable, priority for legacy residents,

priority for neighborhood-serving retail

• Winter 2021 – Continued community engagement, ongoing design revisions and zoning application

• Spring 2021– Housing and affordability trainings, job/contractor recruitment, ongoing design revisions

• Summer 2021 – Building permit application • Fall 2021 – Construction begins• Summer 2022 – Leasing begins
