Prayer & Fasting

 

Thank you for joining us on this 21 day fast. We believe that the sacrifice of many will see us walk under an open heaven in 2012. Our faith is that this year won’t be just another year, but a year of new levels of faith and obedience in your personal life and in our church corporately. In 2012 we will all become, stronger, leaner and wiser. God always rewards sacrifice. Matthew 6:6 says, “Your father who sees in secret will reward you openly” May God richly bless you as you commit to this journey of faith!

We have listed below a very popular fast that would be suitable for most people and for those who are unable to go without food. At the end of the Daniel fast there are some other options to what you could fast. Guidelines for Daniel’s Fast What you can eat: Grains: Brown rice, oats, barley. Legumes: Beans, split peas, lentils, Black eye peas. Fruits: Apple, apricots, banana, blackberry, melon, cherries, cranberries, grapefruit, grapes, guava, kiwi, lemon, limes, mango, orange, mandarins, pears, pineapple, sultanas, watermelon, raspberries, strawberries, papaya. Vegetables: Artichoke, asparagus, beetroot, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chilli, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, ginger, leek, spinach, lettuce, mushrooms, okra, onions, parsley, potatoes, spinach, squash, yams or sweet potatoes, radishes, turnip, watercress, squash, zucchini, Nuts Liquids: Water purified, distilled water, fruit juices 100% natural, vegetable juices.

 

Do not eat: Meat, white rice, fried food, caffeine, sodas, processed foods, refined sugar, Splenda and products of their type, white flour and any product that you do with it (bread), margarine, butter, products with high fat. You can also fast things like: Television Facebook Cinemas Web Browsing Twitter One Meal a day Anything really that you would find a struggle to give up for 21 days. It is about putting our own fleshly desire down so we can use that time hearing from God and discovering His specific will for our lives.

 

Prayer Points (February 13th to March 4th)

Matthew 18:18-19 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on Earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Day 1: (February 13th) C3 Church Rockingham to continue to grow and multiply in the grace of God, exceeding the abilities of its ministers and the expectations of its members. Day 2: (February 14th) C3 Church Siem Reap Cambodia to be established as a viable, thriving local church under the leadership of Mark and Marian Barham. Day 3: (February 15th) C3 Church Mandurah to grow in exponential measure this year in its membership, mission and mandate. Day 4: (February 16th) C3 South West (temporary name) for Phil and Katrina Edwards and their children Jack and Rebecca to safely relocate to the city of Bunbury, secure exceptional employment, family home and ministry opportunities. Day 5: (February 17th) For people to be added to our churches daily as they surrender to Christ and begin to walk in his ways. That a minimum of 365 people would come to Christ and be discipled into the church in the next year.

 

Day 6: (February 18th) For our members to grow stronger in their walk with God and devotional Bible study. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by My name will Humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Day 7: (February 19th) For all of our Pastors, leaders and volunteers to remain pure in their faith, love and ministry work. Day 8: (February 20th) For pastors Claude & Carolyn to receive an abundance of revelation and wisdom in leading churches, raising ministers and reaching lost people for Christ. Day 9: (February 21st) For pastors Mark and Marian Barham to have favour with all government authorities and people of influence so that they can secure their residency visas and reach people for Christ. Day 10: (February 22nd) For pastors Richard and Tania Stretton to be strengthened and favoured in all areas of life and ministry. For their children, Angelique and Riley to be protected from harm, physically and mentally healthy and have an outstanding year in school. Day 11: (February 23rd) For every member of C3 Churches Rockingham, Mandurah and Siem Reap (‘our churches’) to possess a greater hunger for the presence of God and His word, putting into practice the revelation through diligent application.

 

Day 12: (February 24th) For the single parents in our churches to be supernaturally provided for and protected, including their children and loved ones. Day 13: (February 25th) For singles and single again members that desire to marry to meet with and connect in vital relationships that keep them in the centre of God’s will and focus of His favour. Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” Day 14: (February 26th) For the seniors in our churches to continue to engage in the call of God through service in the house of God and in the community. For them to experience supernatural favour and blessing beyond their years. Day 15: (February 27th) For all families in our churches to grow stronger together this year in worship, witness and caring ministry to others Day 16: (February 28th) For the business and professional people in our churches to have extreme favour in the market place securing lucrative contracts, positions and appointments.

 

Day 17: (February 29th) For relationally alone and disconnected members in our churches to find true relationship and kingdom connections that glorify God and break down walls.

Day 18: (March 1st) For every service in every church to be favoured with the presence and power of God manifesting in salvations, healings and the breaking of bondages.

Matthew 21:21-22 “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘be removed and be cast into the sea’, it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive” Day 19: (March 2nd) For the necessary resources to be released for buildings to be purchased, built and furnished at C3 Rockingham this year.

Day 20: (March 3rd) For the spirit of unity and faith to be both infectious and irresistible in our churches this year.

Day 21: (March 4th) For the anointing of growth and the spirit of increase to manifest in all of our churches and for all of our members this year.
