Thankful! We are so grateful to everyone for their prayers for our journey to Kenya. We had a very easy check in, flight and subsequent journey through customs. Our friend Joseph, who had been arrested for a false charge managed to post bail the day before we arrived and was able to meet us at the airport and take us through to Nakuru. The following day we started looking at vehicles and houses, with many thanks to our friends here.

James Yeadon in Leeds asked us what we would be doing when the boys were in school. So we thought we’d put our second week here down for you!

Tuesday 24th January: A call to say that Sammy was sick and needed treatment. Told him to come home the following day from Nyeri.Wednesday: Went to Nairobi to buy car. After several hours of looking in showrooms, we bought a 2004 Toyota Succeed, metallic black. Nakuru to Nairobi is a 2 ½ hour trip. Thursday: Back to Nakuru and then take Sammy to hospital. Eye test and a pair of photo chromatic glasses for reading, cost 3400/- (£27.00)Friday: Back to Nairobi for a parents meeting at Aquinas Secondary School. We have three boys there. It was to get parents to support their boys during their final year. Then back to Nakuru.Saturday: Collect glasses for Sammy and take Ephan-tus for his glasses. Then visit several carpenters’ shops to find furniture that we need. Sunday: Go to Life Changing Ministries and enjoy service.Monday: Back to carpenters to order four piece suite, 2 dining tables and chairs, beds and coffee table and stools. Visit Lanet Lighthouse Academy and discover that we should have been there the Saturday before. James’ birth certificate should be in school by next Saturday, so called the Mother to arrange to get it.Tuesday: Get Ephan-tus’ glasses and then send him back to school. Meet James’ Mum only to discover she brought the
