    Compact punch-laser machine

Innovative solutions are required or modernsheet metal procession: The LC-2012 C1 NTis a compact sheet metal machiningcentre and is the rst combined machinewith integrated automation, an optimisedloading and unloading system as well as anadjustable single part removal. Dependingon the level o automation, the capacityo the machine can be increased up to30 percent within a single shit.

    Grows with your demands

The new punch-laser combination givesthe user a highly fexible sheet metalprocessing system or prototype and smallseries production. Thanks to the modularautomation components, the space-savingcompact centre is also suitable or mediumand large lot sizes.

    Combination technology

    at its best

The consequent high precision and long-standing accuracy machine construction, the ecient sheet metal utilisation anduncompromising quality o the parts are

convincing arguments or the LC-2012 C1 NT.

It is fexibly in use rom the introductory tothe upper middle class o combined punch-laser technology.

High speeds and minimum setup times arenecessary or being competitive. At thesame time, machines must be fexible inuse and take up as little space as possible. The LC-2012 C1 NT series rom AMADAunites all o these advantages. The ullydeveloped combination technology creates

the conditions or economical and reliableproduction.

All system components are perectlymatched to each other and enableindividual solutions at the highest levelo production.

    Punching with the advantage

    o expertise and experience

AMADA has been developing high-perormance punching machines orthe upper quality segment or more than40 years and the user prots rom this

    experience.

Even the smallest parts with complexstructures can be produced quickly andinexpensively using the LC-2012 C1 NT.There is a choice between turrets with 46 or49 stations. Four rotating and our tappingstations as standard or an optional rotatingdie as well as three dies with liting unctionand our tapping stations (M2.5 to M8)avoid time-consuming tool conversion.

The active retaining system prevents ollow-on during the punching process. Thisprevents material stressing and bendingup. Reworking is usually completely

unnecessary. The tools are actively oiledduring the punching process by AirBlowtechnology according to the principle ominimum quantity lubrication.

The servo-electric drive combines theprecision o the mechanical punchingtechniques with the speed and fexibilityo laser technology. The energy recoverysystem stores energy produced during thebraking process and ensures low energyconsumption. In addition, the system doesnot use maintenance-intensive hydraulic

systems. The user can thereore saveon costs and at the same time help toconserve resources.

    Fully automatic sheet positioning

Continually adjustable clamps onthe material carriages

    Highest precision and fexibility

    Smooth-running, low-wearing andalmost completely maintenance-ree

    Low noise emission

Two turret congurations with 46 or49 tools

    High tool capacity

Tools up to 88.9 mm diameter withdirect access

Easy tapping with variable thread sizes(M2.5 to M8)

The laser is used or those cases where

tool geometries cannot be punched. The hal-fying optics achieve a high level oprecision at high speeds and the resonatorachieves a specic perormance o 2.5 kW.Fast positioning times, short beam pathsand high speeds are achieved by the ballscrew drive.

The change rom punching to laser

processing takes place within two seconds.Fast changeover is made possible by thesynchronised movement o both Y-axes othe laser head and sheet metal positioning.Because the laser moves on a separateY-axis, the entire process is smoother, more precise and energy consumption isreduced.

    Punch-Laser combinations do not just

manage tasks with high complexity butalso enable ast handling o productionprocesses. This also reduces operatingcosts.

The LC-2012 C1 NT becomes a fexibleproduction system with its modularautomation components. Users obtainoutstanding production fexibility with

maximum processing speed even with thebasic conguration.

The ully version expands into a completeautomation unit or loading and unloadingthe machine including integration o singleparts sorting and conveyer belt. The small"economical" machining centre thenbecomes a "big earner". The optional partssorting puts good parts onto a separateconveyer belt.

The cycle time or part removal becomes

shorter because the operator can take outproduced parts aster without interruptingthe process and processed urther.Alternatively, part removal can alsotake place via a large scale work chute. This allows several parts to be ejectedsimultaneously and thereore saves time.

    Dierent possibilities or part removal:

    Work chute

    Single parts sorting

    Manipulator in micro joints

    Modular automation

Part removal via a generous work chute

Waiting positionof the single parts sorting

Removal positionof the single parts sorting

Set-down positionof the single parts sortingon the conveyer belt

The world-wide tried-and-tested AMNCcontrol system ensures maximum precisionwith simple operability and the highestpossible reliability. AMNC is based on

multimedia Windows, is easy to use andoers diverse unctions. Even the lessexperienced machine operator is able toamiliarise himsel quickly. Data input takesplace via the touch screen or rom withinthe AMADA technology network. The sotware creates the data only onceand makes it available to all connectedunction areas.

All necessary process inormation,production-relevant data, parts drawings, tool setups and the actual machineprogramme or an order can be stored and

called up at any time. Quality assurance, test, control and error reporting routinesprovide high processing reliability.

Compact perormance density now has anew name: LC-2012 C1 NT rom AMADA!
