Graduate Level Courses PDE Approved Up to 18 credits can be used toward
Instructional II certification
CPE COURSE REQUIREMENTS
One credit 14 hours in class 16 hours out of class assignments
CPE COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Must meet an identified need based on hard data Must require reading outside of class Must have a culminating project and/or research
paper

Assist course instructors through all facets of the proposal development & approval process
Advertise the course to all member school districts
Provide training on various tools available to instructors
INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES Complete and/or update the proposal
according to PDE’s requirements Submit all paperwork in a timely manner Communicate any changes in schedule or
course proposal Be sensitive to timelines and review
process Be a positive face for the intermediate and
our member school districts
