The complex structural refurbishment of 2 adjoining buildings on Duke Street and Binney Street created 5 retail units and 16 luxury apartments for Grosvenor Estates.

Works included the complete strip-out of existing buildings one of which is Grade II listed, and the intricate opening up and infilling work required to create the new floor plates. New high-end finishes are tastefully integrated with the listed features.

Ivy Waterside, Orsman RoadLondon, N1

Construction of a new 5-storey building providing 24 private residential flats, 16 affordable flats, and approximately 600m2 of commercial areas.

The stylish eco-architectural aspect of this development incorporates a live green roof and gabion wall construction, housing selective flora to encourage particular species of birds.

This mixed development for Grosvenor Estates, comprised the alteration and refurbishment of the 5-storey 1897 property both internally and externally to provide 9 luxury apartments on the upper floors with a restaurant on the ground floor.

The new mansard roof (above) was installed to match the original roof design, more in-keeping with the surrounding area and the main facade was fully restored.

Complete construction of 2 high quality town houses on the bank of the River Thames, with foundations below the water line. The main superstructure was constructed as a timber frame to minimise the on-site construction period.

The frame was designed and manufactured in Canada and incorporated SuperE Certification.

The project was delivered on time and on budget, to the total satisfaction of the Client and end users.

Quadrant 3 is the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rated sustainable, mixed-use redevelopment of the former 1930’s designed Regent Palace Hotel as part of the 4-phase Crown Estate’s plan for Regent Street.

9 apartments were each finished to a very high specification that featured air conditioning, Parapan kitchens and interior designed furniture and soft furnishings. The overall scheme comprises a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom energy efficient apartments, 40,000 sq ft of resturant space, 15,000 sq ft of contemporary office suites and 30,000 sq ft of prime retail space.

The Ink Building occupies the site of a former print works in North Kensington. The scheme of 108 apartments consists of 3 distinct blocks, built over a basement car park via a transfer slab.

The building has been designed to achieve a ‘very good’ rating under the EcoHomes scheme.

The 2 adjoining Grade II listed “Queen Anne” style buildings historically forming the headquarters of the 1921 Irish Treaty delegation, were previously used as offices and converted to apartments.

The 1870s structure was subjected to significant alterations with temporary works designed, installed and adapted to suit the progress of the works.

Major remedial work to the roof structure dictated the use of a temporary roof.

The 6 floors became host to 5 lateral apartments, 2 2-storey maisonettes and 1 triplex maisonette which were all completed to a high quality specification.

A new build development of 31 luxury apartments, opposite Cornwall Terrace, on the south side of Regents Park.

The building features a basement car park, vehicular loft, a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, 4 penthouses and integrates specialist scene-setting lighting, home automation and integrated audio visual systems.

The internal refurbishment of an existing 3-storey property in Belgravia provided over 10,000 sq ft of reception rooms, bedroom suites, leisure facilities, a glass rooftop winter garden and staff facilities.

Grade II listed Oceanic House was formally the offices of the White Star shipping line, owners of the Titanic.

The building is to be completely refurbished with extensive structural alterations to form 8 high quality residential apartments on the upper floors and 2 retail ‘shell’ units at ground floor and basement levels.

Full redevelopment incorporating demolition of previous buildings and erection of a part 3-storey and part 4-storey block of 51 apartments, duplexes and penthouses with 1, 2 & 3 bedrooms.

Landscaping of surrounding communal gardens plus provision of underground parking, gymnasium and cinema room, completed the site of a previous police section house near beautiful Wimbledon Village.

A high quality, 12,000 sq ft contemporary residence within the Mayfair conservation area comprising 6 luxury apartments.

The aspiration was to create a modern classic that enhanced the existing streetscape. The development delivered high standards of energy performance that incorporated a range of passive and active energy efficiency measures.

Construction of a block of 55 flats.

45 high-class private residential flats were completed to a high specification, including a penthouse flat with terrace, gym, movie screening room and basement car park. 10 housing association flats were fitted out on behalf of the Notting Hill Trust. The works were carried out on a very tight site, requiring the utmost care to be taken due to passers-by and local traffic.

Philpot House is a former wealthy merchants’ house going back to 1750.

The mixed-use private development comprises the connecting together of two Grade II listed buildings with a late 20th Century office and retail building.

A rooftop extension and substantial structural works in the basement, provide adequate accommodation.

The 36 air-conditioned corporate apartments plus a retail unit are contained within a gated entrance and benefit from a private courtyard.
