Bring your own device

(Bring Your Own Device) Refers to employees taking their own personal device to work, whether laptop, smartphone

or tablet, in order to interface to the corporate network.

B.Y.O.D & Schools

BYOD is an idea that is also being incorporated in the classroom. Some devices used by

students include:● laptops

● netbooks● tablets

● cell/smart phones

BYOD & The IEP

When Bring Your Own Device Policies are considered for implementation for students with disabilities, this information should be included in the Individualized Education Program.

● Be consistent in enforcing policy
