MY 2012 SCHOOL MEMORIES

▪Science 4th grade 2011-2012

Electricity

First, in Science we learned about electricity and how it works like, how to make a circuit and schematic diagrams.

Volcanoes- Then, in Science we learned how volcanoes work

and how the Earth is made up of crust outer crust and the core. We also sang a musical in class about rocks, volcanoes and such.

Environments

Finally, in science we learned about Environments in which plants and animals live in and get their food .We also learned the diff rent types of Environments called Biomes like the Desert.

•Math 2011-2012

Algebra

First, in Math we learned what variables are and different types of Algebra.

Probability and GeometryThen in geometry we learned about

spinners for example what is the probability that blue was picked in a curtain picture.

•ELA 2011-2012

Narratives and Summaries

First, we learned how to make a story or narrative . Then we learned about Summaries and how you summaries a story or passage.

Books we read as a class First, we read a book called Island of the

Blue Dolphins. Then, Stone Fox. And finally By the Great Horn Spoon.

•Field Trips

Auduban ,Capital ,Nutcracker We went on some Field trips here are some

examples of pictures from our Field Trips.

•Fun Activities

Boot Camp break We do fun games in the middle of the

day these are called boot camp breaks like the stepping stone game, running, follow the leader and others.

Hip-Hop

We have classes at the end of the year on Tuesdays and Thursday where a Dance teacher teaches us dance moves.
