Hi my name is Courtney. I am 8. I am moving from Australia and I am
moving to Japan. I am moving because my mum and dad

Kimonos are worn for special events. Sometimes the patterns are symbols of nature.

Students in Japan practise calligraphy. Students take turns to serve lunches at
school. Parents visit the school. Students have lunch in the class room
before they go out to play.

Japanese people ride on bullet trains. bullet trains are fast really fast.Some Japanese people ride ferries.Ferries are a big, big boat.

Children's Day is celebrated on May the 5th. Children wear origami samurai hats.
Weather
The weather can be cold or hot. Sometimes it could be snowy.
It could be rainy.
Food
Japanese people eat a large variety of food.
They eat sushi, rice, fish and vegetables. Take-away food is available in the cities. All types of food can be bought.
