Paleolithic Period. It began over two
millions years ago, when human begans first
appeared.It ended about 5.000 years before
the birth of Christ, when agriculture and
livestock farming began.

The Neolithic Period
The second period in Prehistory is the
Neolithic period. It began on the Iberian
Peninsula about 5.000 years before the
birth of Christ, when agriculture and
livestock farming started. It ended 900
years before Christ, when writing was
introduced on the Peninsula.
