Please word process a paper that summarizes what you have learned this year. In

this document, you should identify what is your favorite part of science, what is your least

favorite part of science and why.

We have learned many things this year, starting off with the periodic table, then about bohr model, next up was the ocean floor, along with learning how to map the floor and its animal all throughout the ocean. Finally we are now learning about rocks and minerals. My favorite part of science this year was learning about bohr models. Seeing how the elements are made up and how they compare to each other is interesting and helps me get a better perspective on how elements are formed. My least favorite item we learned this year was learning how to map the ocean floor. All of the different elements that go into the ocean floor are cool, but the process in which you have to go through to graph the actually floor is precise and because of how precise it is, the process soon gets irritating.

On a scale of 1-5(5 being the best) rate yourself on your ability to complete all the

assignments for class. Why?

I would give myself a 5. This is because my work is all ways in time or early. When we have time in class to finish the work, I don’t mess around, I try my best to get what I can done in the class room. Also, I take lots of pride and effort into the work that I turn in.

On a scale of 1-5, rate yourself on your class time and effort and positive contributions to

class discussions. Why?

I would say I earn a 4. This is because I don’t always share when we have class discussions. But when I do, I process what I am going to say in my head before I say it out loud and make sure that it has a meaning to what the discussion is .

On a scale from 1-5, rate yourself on your ability to work with other classmates Why?

I would give myself a 4. This is because I am a very head strong person with lots of ideas. Sometimes I have a little trouble compromising, but this problem only occurs very little. Other then that, I work well with others and always do what I am supost to in the partnership.

On a scale of 1-5 describe items that you would like to improve upon for next quarter/years

I would like to improve on researching topics. Right now I would give myself a 3.5. But in the future, I would like to be able to rate myself a 5. I will improve on this by only taking important information from any resource, instead of just putting lots of fluff. This will help me with my products that involve research

On a scale of 1-5, describe what went well in this school year. Why?

What went well this school year was my improvement on writing CERs. I feel that in the beginning of the year, I was a 3.5. Now I feel that I am a 5. I have learned how to correctly format the writing piece and what goes into the clam, evidence, and the reasoning.
