Smog irritates people’s eyes and lungs.

Smog comes from burning fossil fuels, natural gas, and coal.

Cars, planes, power plants and other human activities that involve burning off fossil fuels such as gasoline and natural gas can cause smog.

Smog is more harmful in our homes than in outside air.

We can walk to close destinations instead of driving a car.

We can recycle instead of burning off garbage.
