Cats spring a big surprise " ^ NOT knowing which way the cat jumps gave BBC producers Michael Lumley and his camera team a tough time when they went t o t h e N a t i o n a l C a t C l u b Championship at Olympia, London.

They wanted to film the felines for PRIZE CATS (BBC-2, 6.50) but discovered that the animals just don ' t care about having their pictures taken.

"They wouldn't stay sti l l ," said Lumley. "It took us ten minutes of film tape to get one shot of a cat."
