Transcript of By Pastor EMMANUEL AKINOLA - Winners Chapel Int....
You can be part of society but your own testimony is
different. Everyone could be saying there is a casting down
but you will be saying there is a lifting up in the name of
Jesus. As part of the teaching series for the month, this
sermon focuses on the “Spirit of Faith”.
2 Corinthians 4:13—“We having the same spirit of faith,
according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I
spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”
If you claim to have the spirit of faith and you are not
speaking then that faith is questionable. I declare that your
mouth will be opened to declare the un-declarable in the
name of Jesus. When you hear something negative, open
your mouth and refuse it. From today, whatever makes you
mute is destroyed in the name of Jesus. God told Bishop
Oyedepo that it was time to get an aircraft and even though
it did not look like it at the time, bishop believed and moved
immediately and it became a reality. When God also told
him about Faith Tabernacle, he believed and took actions
and it became a reality. Whatever God declares towards
your life will become a reality in the name of Jesus.
The spirit of faith is one of the forces that empowers us to
live in a different world. There are so many biblical
examples to prove this.
Hebrews 11:32—“And what shall I more say? for the time
would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of
Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and
of the prophets. Who through faith subdued kingdoms,
wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the
mouths of lions. Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the
edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed
valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”
Look at the three Hebrew boys; they were threatened but did
not bow to the graven image rather they replied the king
saying “we are not careful to answer you in this
matter” (Daniel 3:16) and they refused to bow to the image. I
pray you receive the injection of faith with confidence in the
name of Jesus.
We are called to contend for the spirit of faith according to
scriptures.
Jude 1:3—“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto
you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write
unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for
the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”
How Can We Contend For The Spirit Of Faith?
1. By studying the Word of God
You can only contend for the spirit of faith daily when you
feed on the Word of God daily because that is the fuel for the
operation of the spirit of faith. Once you don’t feed yourself
with the Word of God, the spirit of faith cannot be operational
in you.
Romans 10:17—“So then faith cometh by hearing, and

hearing by the word of God.”
2. By staying away from junks
The Internet today is filled with so much junk that distracts
from studying the Word. What you focus on determines what
assimilates into you. Therefore, if all you do is listening to
negative news, you will not be able to build your faith.
Choose today what you want to focus on because without
faith you are dead spiritually.
Deuteronomy 30:19
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that
I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”
Choose the Word of God and despise those life-destroying
elements from the Internet. Build up your faith because it is
the capacity of your faith that determines what God can do
for you. If Bishop Oyedepo’s faith could not handle building
a fifty thousand people capacity structure, it would not have
happened. Therefore, I pray that you shall be baptized with
the spirit of faith in the name of Jesus. Many years ago when
I joined Winners Chapel, my faith was still wobbling and I
went to apply for a job but I got refused. After building my
faith, God told me to go back to the same place where I had
been refused and I got accepted. Elisha passionately coveted
the spirit of faith upon Elijah and ended up doing twice of
what Elijah did through the prophetic mantle. As you partake
of the prophetic mantle, you will do greater exploits than our
father in the Lord ever did in the name of Jesus.
What Are The Manifestations Of The Spirit Of Faith?
1. The spirit of faith empowers us to believe all things
When God speaks, He speaks according to His ability. In
your natural state of mind, you will tend to doubt everything
God says but when you have the spirit of faith, you will
believe all things. Bishop believed everything God said to
him and he took actions then it became a reality.
James 1:6-7—“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.
For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the
wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall
receive any thing of the Lord.”
2. The sprit of faith speaks through us
When Bishop Oyedepo was told he had hypertension, he
immediately refused it saying “not me”. Therefore, as long as
you have the spirit of faith resident in you then whenever you
are faced with a situation that looks negative, that spirit of
faith will speak on your behalf.
3. The spirit of faith propels us to put the Word of God to
work
Hebrews 11:7—“By faith Noah, being warned of God of
things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to
the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the
world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by
faith.”
The spirit of faith makes you to hold on to God’s word
notwithstanding the present situation. Anything that has
hindered you from taking the step God has ordained for you;
by the baptism of the Spirit of faith, you shall move with
speed in the name of Jesus.
4. The spirit of faith sees the invisible
Hebrews 11:27
“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king:
for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.”
Bishop moved from a city where church growth is possible
to a far forest where not readily accessible to people because
God said “This is the place”.
5. The Spirit of faith thinks the impossible
The spirit of faith makes you see possibility in an impossible
situation. Pastor Faith Oyedepo told Bishop David Oyedepo
a while back after he came back from a trip that she had a
miscarriage whereby physicians had washed out what was
left in her womb. Bishop said to her “It cannot happen” and
requested to have his dinner. Nine months later, Pastor
David Oyedepo Jr. was born. Therefore, to whatever you
have lost to doubt, I decree restoration in the name of Jesus.
6. The spirit of faith empowers us to see through the eyes
of scriptures
Genesis 13:14-15
“And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was
separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from
the place where thou art northward, and southward, and
eastward, and westward. For all the land which thou seest,
to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.”
7. The spirit of faith empowers you to speak through
scriptural perspective
2 Corinthians 4:13—“We having the same spirit of faith,
according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I
spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”
8. The spirit of faith acts on the Word without wavering
Romans 4:3
“For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and
it was counted unto him for righteousness.”
Stay on the Word until your worth is established.
Romans 4:18—“Who against hope believed in hope, that he
might become the father of many nations, according to that
which was spoken, so shall thy seed be.”
One of the ways to get the spirit of faith is by the mantle
administration. As the mantle is administered, the spirit of
faith in operation in our father in the Lord will manifest in
your own life in the name of Jesus.
“Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.” - Isaiah 8:16
Elisha passionately coveted that spirit of faith from Elijah
and so that means, it takes you coveting the spirit of faith
because nothing moves in the realm of the spirit casually.
Elisha followed Elijah with focus. Do not let anything
distract you. Be focused and be expectant that you will
receive the baptism of the spirit of faith in the name of Jesus
Christ.
Bishop went to Tulsa, Oklahoma, many years ago with a
determination to receive the spirit in operation in the life of
Kenneth E. Hagin. During that service, he had an experience
with God and the baton was handed over to him. It is what
you covet that you collect.
What Is Impartation?
It is the spiritual endowment from an anointed vessel unto
others.
Romans 1:11
“For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some
spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established.”
Philippians 1:7—“Even as it is meet for me to think this of
you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both
in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the
gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.”
Impartation is the transmission of the power of God from an
anointed vessel for signs and wonders and special miracles.
Acts 19:11-12—“And God wrought special miracles by the
hands of Paul. So that from his body were brought unto the
sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed
from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”
What Are The Channels Of Impartation?
1. Through the Word of God
Luke 5:17—“And it came to pass on a certain day, as he
was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the
law sitting by, which were come out of every town of
Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the
Lord was present to heal them.”
Ezekiel 2:2
“And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and
set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.”
John 6:63—“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh
profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are
spirit, and they are life.”
2. Through prophetic declaration
1 Timothy 4:14—“Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which
was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands
of the presbytery.”
3. Through laying of hands
Deuteronomy 34:9—“And Joshua the son of Nun was full of
the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon
him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did
as the LORD commanded Moses.”
4. Through the prophetic mantle
How Do We Access The Impartation Of The Spirit Of
Faith?
Brethren, you need to understand that supernatural faith is a
product of the spirit of faith whereby God is behind the
mystery of impartation of the spirit of faith.
Numbers 11:16
“And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy
men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the
elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them
unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand
there with thee and I will come down and talk with thee
there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and
will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the
people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.”
How Do You Position Yourself To Receive This
Impartation?
1. Identify a carrier
Matthew 25:9—“But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest
there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them
that sell, and buy for yourselves.”
2. Receive the person and the mystery of the carrier
Matthew 10:41—“He that receiveth a prophet in the name
of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that
receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man
shall receive a righteous man's reward.”
3. Crave for what he carries
Spiritual transfer requires a craving and not a casual
approach, Bishop David Oyedepo craved for what Kenneth
Hagin was carrying and he received it amongst the many
people that would have been n attendance of that service that
day.
4. Honour him in your heart
Mark 6:4—“But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not
without honour, but in his own country, and among his own
kin, and in his own house.”
Isaiah 29:13—“Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this
people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do
honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and
their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men.”
Proverbs 27:18
“Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he
that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.”
There is what is refereed to as son-ship connection. It is the
master key to automatic impartation; see Bishop Oyedepo as
your spiritual father and you as a spiritual son or daughter
because every child carries the DNA of a father. Prophets are
ordained spiritual father’s to whom they are sent.
2 Kgs 6:21“And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he
saw them, My father, shall I smite them? shall I smite them.”
Elisha regarded Elijah as a father.
2 Kings 2:12—“And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father,
my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.
And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes,
and rent them in two pieces.”
A fatherless Christian is a featherless Christian. A bird cannot
fly without feathers. Therefore by virtue of impartation, you
will begin to fly in all your endeavours in the name of Jesus.
God Provided me with a Miracle Job
I have come to give glory to the God of this commission who
is too faithful to fail. I have been trusting God for a job over
some months now. I applied to several places and whenever I
did get interviews they would not get back to me. I met with
the Resident Pastor to pray with me after which I had another
interview but I still did not get the job. I became emotionally
down and started crying to God for help, the Holy Spirit
spoke to me from Job 4:4-5: “Thy words have upholden him
that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth
thee, and thou art troubled.” Immediately I put myself
together and renewed my trust in God that He is too faithful
to fail in my situation. Last week Tuesday, I had an interview
and I was given the position on Friday. I give Glory to God
for destroying stagnation in my career. - Sis Feyisola O.

Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your heart?
That is, are you BORN AGAIN?
If your answer is ‘NO’, or you are
not sure, please pray this prayer
with all sincerity and confidence!
Lord Jesus, I come to You today!
I am a sinner, I cannot help
myself. Forgive me my sins.
Cleanse me with your precious
blood. Deliver me from sin and
Satan, to serve the Living God.
Today, Lord Jesus, I accept You
as my Lord, and my Saviour.
Thank You Jesus, for saving me!
Now I know, I am born again! I
am now a Child of God!
Please declare this to yourself this week:
As I commit to kingdom-advancement endeavours, total health shall be my portion all through the year 2016 - Prov 13:17/2 Cor. 5:19-20 As I walk in the light of the truth, my dominion over sickness and disease shall be established this year - Job 30:21-25/2 Cor. 2:14 As I engage the covenant practice of tithing, the devourer of health shall be rebuked for my sake this year - Mal 3:10-11 As I serve God and the interests of His kingdom as a lifestyle, He shall take every sickness away from my life this year - Ex. 23:25-26 As I engage the shield of faith, all the fiery darts of sickness and disease shall be quenched finally in my life this year - Eph. 6:16
