1) The Taj Mahal• The Taj Mahal was built because of Prince Khurrum (shah Jahan) first really love his wife Mumtaz Mahal who died while she gave birth. So Shah Jahab wanted a beautiful building built in memorial of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.• Europeans tried to clam the Taj Mahal as their own because after the Indian rebellion the british soldiers and government tried to restore what was lost.• The Hindu nationalists have claim the Taj Mahal as a Hindu design because they have said that it was originally a Hindu temple before the Taj Mahal.

2) Akbar the Great

• Due to the people Akbar the Great rule were mostly Hinduism and Islam which both had many differences but Akbar the Great encouraged both to get along.• Akbar the Great always encouraged his people (Hinduism and

Islam) to get along and to be tolerant to each other. Which led him to develop the Din-i-illahi, which helped to encourage tolerance to his people.• It would have served it good for the mughal Empire because

the semi-official religion would have made it equal for both side of religion.• Yes because it would help the people and it would of let the

people be in their religion.• Because other rulers or people would just like it to have the

country and Religion all the same no t different.

3)Aurangzeb• He governed the Deccan and conducted military

campaigns to extend the frontiers of the Mughal empire.

• He eventually drove his own son into exile in Persia, from where Akbar never returned. 

• Aurangzeb's harsh treatment of Hindus, and the reversal of religious policies of his predecessors, particularly Akbar, are principal reasons for the disintegration of his empire. 

• The system of political alliances established by Akbar was allowed to go to seed because of Aurangzeb’s actions.

4)The British East India Company• The Company was brought to the verge of bankruptcy

because even thought trading increased, it found it self with huge military expenses which caused government intervention to bring the Company back on its feet.

• British rule was disastrous for the people of Bengal and left the formerly rich province in a state of destitution.

• Indirect rule placed a resident at a court of the native ruler and Doctrine of lapse was an annexation policy where a native state became part of British India if there was no son after the death of the ruler.

6)Suleiman the Magnificent.

• As Suleiman the Magnificent as a rule he began to do kindness to the people and really love him for all the good that. Suleiman dose so much great thing for his people. • The love he had for his people. The way he treat the people he did many acts of kindness and free many slaves and put them in school. And many things that his father would never do.• Suleiman would conquer new place to make his empire bigger. Because both would plan how to conquer the places.• After Suleiman the Magnificent death his Empire was losing power. He was aecline of the Ottoman Empire. His oldest son Roxelana but Suleiman didn’t teach he son about the Empire and all.

7)Roxelana &The Wife of Suleiman.

• The Impact of the court were that Roxelena was so flexibility and positive. She work in several public building , from Mecca to Jerusalem.• Because she rise up above everyone else and she was first a slave and then she work up and learn more the all the women and her husband saw something special on her.• Her court intrigues were typical because she had the same ideas and it was mostly simply and easy..

8) The Janissaries .• It was considered a good idea because the Ottoman Empire would Kidnapped Christian boys and trained them. So the empire got many troops and people to fight for them.• The tradition started when they increase led to the abolition of the crops.• Because the Janissaries had more troops than the Ottoman soldiers. And the Janissaries were full time soldiers.• It was typical because they had most of the same system with many new use for baking, building roads, and more.• It different because they where studying had medical use which came very helpful.

9) Ottoman science: Smallpox vaccination.

• Lady Montague opinion of Ottoman society is that she like and want it to learn more. She brought those ideas with her to Britain. But they didn’t let her be part of the medical preparations because she was female and she didn’t like that.• Her opinion on them was that they didn’t think women were that smart, and that was the reason she couldn’t work with the.

10) The Safavids• The use of legend from pre-Islamic Iran or Persia were

of use to the Safavids as assassins.• Isma’il gained control of Safavid by capturing Tabriz in

July 1501 and enthroning himself the Shah of Azerbaijan.

• Abbas I is considered the greatest because he got Persia at the peak of its political, economical, and cultural power.

• The Safavid rulers after Abbas I were ineffectual causing falling revenues and military threats which leaved Safavid Persia open to invasion.

Expanded the Mughal Empire he was a religious tolerant and interested in art. He extended the Mughal Empire to the North of Afghanistan the west of Sindh, East of Bengal, and the South of Godavari River. He created a central government system.
