INTRODUCTION
Nestlé is the world's leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness company.
Nestlé was formed in 1905 by the merger of the Anglo-Swiss Milk Company & Farine Lactée Henri Nestlé.
Nestlé's products include Baby food, bottled water, breakfast cereals, tea & coffee, confectionery, dairy products, ice cream, pet foods & snacks.
Nestlé has around 450 factories, operates in 86 countries, and employs around 328,000 people.
Nestlé was listed No. 1 as the world's most profitable corporation in 2011.
HISTORY Nestlé was formed in 1905 by the merger of the Anglo-
Swiss Milk Company, established in 1867 by brothers George Page and Charles Page, & Farine Lactée Henri Nestlé, founded in 1867 by Henri Nestle.
Its production had more than doubled by the end of First World war.
In 1947 Nestlé merged with Maggie. Since 1996, there have been various acquisitions,
including San Pellegrino (1997), Spillers Pet foods (1998), Delta Ice cream (2005), Oval tine (2007) and many more.
