Some examples are window blinds, a flag pole, a rock climbing pulley, and a sale boat mast. Slide 6 * A wheel and axle makes it easier to turn things. It works by when you turn the wheel the axle turns with it. Some examples are a car or bicycle wheel, a door knob, a steering wheel, a rolling pin, an old fashion pencil sharpener, and a electric fan. Slide 7 * A screw is an inclined plane wrapped around a pole. It holds things together when you tighten it to the object. Some examples of screws are bolts, a cork screw, lids of jars, and drills.
