Soup Suppers: Lent is fast approaching and the planning is underway for the soup suppers. This year two church members accessed their Thrivent Action Team Dollars and now we have the funds to purchase many of the items that we normally have donated. There is still a need for congregational members to donate baked goods or desserts. Sign-up sheets are available in the Narthex for people to choose which supper they are able to donate the baked goods. Also, if individuals would still like to donate other items such as bread, please note it on the bottom of the sign-up sheet. Thank you for your continued support of this Lenten tradition.

Thrivent Choice Dollars: Lutheran Church of Peace is eligible to receive Thrivent Choice dollars. Thrivent Choice is a member benefit of Thrivent Financial that provides the opportunity to designate dollars to organizations that are close to our hearts, like LCOP. Thrivent members have until March 31st, 2018 to designate their 2017 Thrivent Choice dollars. Go to Thrivent.com/thriventchoice to learn more or call Tim Zauche, Financial Representative with Thrivent Financial, at 608-330-3001 with any questions.

Office Desks: The office got beautiful pre-owned desks and need to get the old ones out. If you would like one, they are on a first-come basis and you will need to move it out (They are very heavy). You are welcome to give the church a donation for the desk.

Spring Rummage Sale: Start saving your donations for the Annual Spring Rummage Sale. More information will come at a later date but anyone interested in helping with planning this event is invited to attend a meeting on Sunday, March 11th, 9:30 in the Youth & Family Library.
