Katniss Everdeen

Katniss is unsure of who she truly is. She now has a big house and lots food because

she won the games. Katniss is still not satisfied because she just

wants her old life back. Katniss is disappointed that she has to go back

into the games, but her goal is to keep Peeta alive.

She thinks Peeta should stay alive because when Haymitch could only choose one person to stay alive he chose Katniss. Katniss thinks it is Peeta’s turn to recive medicine and because this time only one of them can win.

Peeta Mellark

Peeta is still in love with Katniss and thinks that he is getting married to her. That is until he realizes that they are both going into the games.

Peeta has experience with art from icing pastries in families bread shop. He started to paint and he paint out his nightmare of the games.

Peeta will do all that he can to save Katniss. That is why he volunteered for Haymitch.

He is helping Katniss train so she canhave a chance at stay alive.

Haymitch Abernathy

Haymitch was Peeta and Katniss’s mentor the year that both of them one. This year he is still their mentor, but only one can win.

Haymitch won the 50th Hunger Games which was the 2nd Quarter Quell. He won by tricking the Capitol as well.

Haymitch has a drinking problem and is always drunk. Peeta has been throwing out his drinking, but somehow he always finds a way to get more.

Effie Trinket

Effie is the person that announces who will be in the Hunger Games every year. She is also Peeta and Katniss’s manager every year.

She makes sure that they ar eon time for every event, whether it is lunch, or if it is an interview.

Effie definitely has a unique sense of style. She is always wearing a wig and bright colors.
