What it is

Osteo in Greek means bone. Osteoarthritis is a bone disease in which the cartilage breaks down.

The breakdown of cartilage causes joint pains while moving.

Cartilage acts as a lubricant in joints in between the bones, when this Lubricant breaks down, that results in pain during movement.

Arthritis has multiple causes, people may get arthritis from injuries and joint diseases.

People over the age of 65 are more prone to getting Osteoarthritis

People with Diabetes are more prone too.

Physical therapy Medications such as aspirin and

ibuprofen can make the pain go away.

Constant exercise and an active lifestyle can prevent Osteoarthritis.
