Butterfly Lanterns

Buy inexpensive plain paper lanterns, then spruce them up with tissue-paper butterflies to hang indoors and out.

1. Make a template and cut out two butterflies from coloured tissue paper and one from coloured card.

2. Stack the three pieces together and crease down the centre.

3. Use PVA glue along the fold of the card, then place a tissue butterfly on top. Add another line of glue down the fold, and place the last tissue butterfly on top.

4. Glue the butterflies on to the paper lantern, card side down.

5. Repeat as required.
